For years, I've used this product to treat oral ulcers (also known as canker sores or "aphthous ulcers"). It is the most effective, "hands-on" solution currently available. down. "Not only does it contain a reasonable amount of topical anesthetic, but the unique base keeps the "medicine" on the lesion (sore) for much longer than other, similar products. I regret how the price has nearly doubled over the years (although it is slightly cheaper on Amazon), but this is a TOTAL WINNER for oral problems like canker sores and gingivitis (or teething infant gum pain), and is a good item to keep in your medicine cabinet. Some minor issues: I recommend avoiding getting any of this product on clothing because it is difficult to remove. Also, keep the vial tightly closed at all times, as it has a tendency to leak. If you're taking this item with you on the road, it's best to keep it in a plastic "baggie. ".
If you get canker sores every now and then, this is a great product to use because it forms a whitish layer on the sore and numbs it enough that you don't feel any pain. It has a lot of power. You can numb half of your mouth by putting a little too much of it in. I like how it doesn't have a bad taste to it. In fact, it has a sweet and pleasant flavor (of course, you shouldn't eat it in large quantities, but you can't help but eat some when you apply it to your sore).
Excellent recipe- This applicator, however, is not one I would recommend. It's extremely inconvenient to work with. Either a brush or a squeeze tube would be my recommendation.
