Probably- because the same bottle and store bottles are different sizes- It's possible that the volume is a factor. In any case - Why should you inquire about this? My dentist said there wasn't enough peroxide in it to make a difference, but there was enough to use the word; his recommendation was to use... peroxide.

I wish I had asked first because it's flavored with wintergreen mint, which I despise and prefer to peppermint. It would be nice if it was available in peppermint flavor.
INQUIRE WITH YOUR DOCTOR OR DENTIST? Regular hydrogen peroxide may not have the same pleasant flavor or foaming action.

I bought this because I liked the prescription-strength mouthwash Colgate Periogard that my dentist gave me after I had a tooth pulled, and I wanted something similar. This works well as a replacement. It gives me the feeling of having a very clean mouth. I have a bad habit of flossing so much that my gums bleed, and using this mouthwash after flossing makes me feel like it's cleaning out any cuts I may have caused. I wish I had done a little more research because a few weeks later, I found the exact same mouthwash at Walmart for a much lower price.
This is an excellent product. This is something that my wife and I have become heavy users of. It does exactly what it says. My only criticism is that it is pricey for the amount of product you receive in a single bottle.
When you've accidentally bit the inside of your mouth, burned your tongue on hot food, or have the beginnings of what feels like a mouth ulcer, this stuff is a lifesaver. If you swish this around before bed, the problem is likely to go away. or gone. By the next morning (at least, that's how it's worked for me). br>br>UPDATE: br>br> This was a new flavor to me, and I had no idea. All of the positive things I have to say about this product are only applicable to the Original flavor, not the new Mild Mint. In fact, the new flavor has an unpleasant metallic aftertaste that is difficult to remove. WHY did they feel compelled to change the flavor of the original? I can't seem to locate it now.
This product was used to treat a gum sore, and the pain was gone the next day. It has a minty taste to it.
Something got under my grandmother's dentures and caused canker sores. Her suffering was excruciating. br>br>After having my wisdom teeth removed, I remembered using this. Grandma was initially skeptical, but after trying it, she was delighted that I had purchased it for her. br>br>She's been using it for a few days now, and her mouth is nearly healed. This is a product that I strongly suggest.
It has a pleasant flavor and does not leave your month feeling greasy! Very energizing!.
