The following is an update as of I have noticed that the effectiveness of this product has drastically decreased after using it for several months. There's no reason why my salivary glands have become accustomed to things, but perhaps they are. I do not use it on frequent nights where dry mouth prevents me from sleeping. Since the dry mouth keeps me from sleeping, I probably use it twice a week. As opposed to every night, you should do it three times a week. This review is based on the Original In the past, I've had to drink water before going to bed because my mouth would be so dry it would bother me and I would not be able to sleep. In this case, my teeth and floss are brushed, I floss, then I use Biotene to swish around and in the end my mouth does not get dry while sleeping. However, I wish it would last longer and be less expensive (if I wake up in the middle of the night my mouth will be dry again) but for what it does, it works well.

There is a description on Amazon for this product that states that it is a Biotene mouthwash containing "4 antibacterial enzymes that boost the defense system normally found in your saliva. ". Located in the description are the enzymes following Lysozyme (40 mg), Lactoferrin (15 mg), Glucose Oxidase (2500), and In contrast, the bottle shipped contains a different formula that does not contain any of these ingredients. This is especially relevant to people who have dry mouth, because the lack of saliva means an absence of the protective factors that help prevent tooth decay, keep the mouth healthy, etc. There are just a few moisturizing ingredients and preservatives in this new formula. In addition to providing moisture, it does not contain any enzymes or nutrients that are beneficial to the oral health.

It's amazing how good this mouthwash is. My mouth and tongue had been dry/tongue after copid. I tried this rinse for the first time, and it worked amazing. This mouthwash is not overpowering in the way most mouthwashes are. There is a smooth taste to it Dental health is improved by a soothing toothpaste.

Amazon's price is very competitive, compared to a pharmacy in my area that charges twice as much for this same size of prescription. I really like the product.

As far as I am concerned, Biotene does not live up to its reputation. A very refreshing flavor can be tasted in this product.

It is a lie that the ingredients listed are healthy! As listed in the table below From looking at the actual bottle label, it appears that it consists mostly of artificial sweetener. There is much to be disappointed about. Doesn't it violate the law for a product like this to list the wrong ingredients?.

The first thing I feel after waking up is my mouth being very dry. Biotene has helped my mouth immediately when I rinse it with it. You will enjoy its taste and feel good after eating it.

Recently I have received two bottles of the product that are harsh and burn my mouth and gums. Also, the flavor seems different and there is a bitter aftertaste of licorice. I will not be buying the product again unless they change back to the original.
