Questions & Answers

Is it necessary to mix everything together?

Shake the bottle and pour, no mixing required.br>If hair is washed every day, it will last a maximum of two weeks - That's how long the color lasts in my hair, at least. If you have a dye allergy, this is the best option I've found, and it doesn't itch at all.

Is the room completely dark?

I used it to cover the greys in my beard, so it's not quite "jet" black, but it's close.

Is there a date on them that they'll expire?

The expiration date on the Box is something I'm not sure about. When I bought mine at a health food store or on Amazon, I knew it would do exactly what it said it would. I've had mine for more than a year and it's still going strong.

How long do you think it will last before you have to redo it?

About a month later, my roots (gray areas) begin to show. Around that time, the rest of my hair begins to fade a little, so I redo my entire head at four weeks. For me, one box equals two applications because my hair is a little longer than shoulder length.

It's possible that it'll be beneficial to you
5/5

I like this product because it's simple to use a small amount every day or so as a haih dressing and it tones down the gray without looking like a pant job. I don't use it exactly as directed because I don't want to completely cover the gray; I just want to make it look like I'm going gray without going all the way. I simply dip my fingers into a cotaner filled with product and work it throughout my hair. Because the color is mimicked to look like natural graying, the effect is natural. I go from a completely white appearance to a graying toned appearance. You do it almost every morning and don't bother to wash it because there isn't much on. A bottle will keep you going for months. It doesn't turn red, so I use a black shade mixed with dark brown to achieve the desired shade. Anyway, I've been doing it this way for at least five years, and it's the easiest way for me to tone down the old man white hair look without having to say I'm dying my hair. Best wishes to you.

It is insufficiently long

I used to apply henna on a regular basis, but I got tired of the mess and the time it took from start to finish. I tried Madison Reed and liked how easy it was to use, but I didn't like how it rinsed out and stained everything for about four days after it was applied. I decided to give it a shot because it appeared to be a good middle ground between the two processes. I liked how simple it was to use. br>br> There is no need to mix or wait; simply open the bottle and use. I also liked the dark brown it produced, which was nearly black but not quite blue. black. br>br>I used a build-up-removing shampoo, toweled my hair dry, and applied it when it was damp but not too wet. I let it sit on my hair for a little over 4 hours before rinsing it out and only using conditioner instead of shampoo. I had to blow dry my hair so I wouldn't have to go to bed with wet hair. I braided it and left it alone for at least 24 hours before washing it with the shampoo and conditioner recommended. A lot of color was rinsing out, as I could tell. It stained my towel, and some of it rubbed off on my pillowcase even when I had dry hair. I didn't wash my hair every day, but I did rinse it out and color my towel every time I did. This went on for a little more than a week. br>br>Just over a week after application, my grays have begun to show. This was not worthwhile for the time spent. The color only lasted a week or so. It was rinsing and coloring towels all of the time. (It did come out of the towel and pillowcase, however. ).

Good
4/5

I've been using it for a few years because I'm allergic to henna and it doesn't bother me. I use it on both dry and wet hair, but I leave it on for at least 90 minutes, and the color fades in about 10 minutes. Every day for 12 days, I washed my hair. One piece of advice: Hair should be dried with a dark colored towel because henna bleeds onto white/light colored towels, making even the cleanest towel appear dirty.

Hair will benefit from it
5/5

This product, according to my wife, is "healthier. " "It's incredibly easy to use. " The color is more durable. There are no tingling sensations on the scalp, and the treatment can be left on for up to 30 minutes. Make sure the bottle is thoroughly shaken before using. You could even warm it up in the microwave for a few seconds before using it. If you notice small mud-like clumps while rinsing, don't be alarmed. As a result, heating before use is necessary. For the past 5 years, my wife has been using this product. I've been using it for quite some time now, and I'll keep doing so.

There won't be any more itchiness on your head
5/5

I went with the black option. Before applying the color, I shampooed my hair. I left the color on for 90 minutes (rather than the recommended 60), then rinsed it out thoroughly. I don't think I'll need to shampoo my hair again because the color is perfect. I used to use Naturtint and my scalp was always itchy, especially for the first two days after coloring. All I do is whine. It's a little on the pricey side, but it'll be worth it because I won't be up all night scratching my head!.

Five out of five stars
5/5

It's especially good for melanated men with sensitive skin. Because it's already mixed, it's quick and easy. Because I have sensitive skin and chemical dyes irritate it, I used this on my beard. My beard is very grey, almost silver in color. I've had grey hair since I was a child, so I needed something to help me not look so old yet! br>br>I only use it for an hour at a time and only rinse it out in the shower without shampoo. It takes 2 - 3 minutes for me to finish. 3 applications to restore 90% of grey hair to black color Before it faded, the dye lasted about a week. Most importantly, it causes no irritation and has actually aided in the recovery of my beard from chemical dye-induced light spots. I am pleased with it and use it exclusively.

Your hair will turn red at some point
3/5

For a couple of years, I used this henna. Since I realized it was turning my hair red, I've had to stop. When I contacted the company, they assured me that it would happen. They suggested that I might have taken too long between treatments. I took their advice and did what they said. There isn't any distinction. Reddish highlights are not something I want. My hair was supposed to be black, but I didn't know how to do it. So I came to a halt.

For people who are allergic to dyes, this is a fantastic option
5/5

Loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this productbr>I have severe allergies (52 to be exact) and The black is my go-to because it's my natural color and it hides my grey hair beautifully. br>In the summer, I like to use the red because it not only hides the grey but also gives your hair the appearance of being highlighted. Because my hair is naturally curly and down to the middle of my back, I would have to use at least three bottles because the bottle is quite small. br>Before you dismiss it, give it a shot.
