Questions & Answers

For my white hair, I'll need henna. Is this something you can do?

If you don't want black hair, don't mix indigo with henna. It has a significant impact on the color. White or grey hair simply requires more than one treatment to allow the henna to fully develop. Some people see results right away, while others need to apply for several times. Hair that is white or grey has a high resistance to dye. If you want brown tones instead of red tones, don't use amla. After that, you're free to use amla. br>br>DO NOT ADD OILS OR FATS TO HENNA UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AS THIS WILL INHIBIT HENNA'S ABILITY TO PERMEATE THE HAIR SCALP. As a result, the henna's advantages are diminished. After that, you can do an oil treatment or a deep conditioning treatment. The addition of hibiscus powder will condition as well as deepen red tones. To soften and condition henna, add 1 to 2 teaspoons aloe vera powder per 100g (4 oz) of henna. It has no effect on the color. Leave it on for at least 3 to 4 hours, but up to 8 hours if possible. To prevent it from drying into a hard shell, wrap it in plastic wrap or place it under a plastic shower cap. Allow for a full dye release by steeping it for 8 to 12 hours in advance. Use cold water instead of hot. No acids, such as lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, should be used. They have no effect on dye release and may cause hair damage. br>br>In a mixing bowl, combine distilled water and green tea - Rosewater, which has a conditioning effect, or rose petal powder can be added to the henna for a conditioning effect. br>br>Of course, you can shampoo to remove the henna; just use a mild shampoo without sulfates, silicones, pareben, or other curly girl-friendly ingredients.

Does this hena change the color of your hair from black to copper?

If your hair is black or dark brown, it will most likely turn plum in color, with the redness visible in the sun. Only light shades of brown or blond hair, in my opinion, will turn copper.

What color is your hair when you use it?

Mr. Michael W., It turns your hair into shades of copper, which is a natural result of real henna, according to Chapman. To get darker shades with Henna, you can use our Indigo powder. br>We're excited to hear about your experiences and feedback - Bulk Herbs India's MJ is the author of this article.

I like my hair to be dark brown with a red sheen. My grey roots are also something I like to hide. What is the proportion of henna and indigo? What kind of henna and indigo are you talking about? ty?

You will have red hair after using this henna. This pure henna and brown may be of interest to you. You'll most likely get the right color if you mix equal parts. Grays can be hidden with henna. The appropriate amount is determined by the length of your hair. My hair falls just below the level of my shoulders. I use at least half a pound. It should be a pancake batter consistency. Cover the grays with a cap and leave it on for four hours. 6 hours.

It's fantastic! I'm a sucker for Amazon, so I decided to give an organic henna powder that I could order with prime a try
5/5

I hadn't used henna on my hair in a long time, but I was getting the itch again. I really like how colorful it is. This henna has a lot to offer! I made a paste with room temperature water and a splash of apple cider vinegar, covered it, and set it aside for three hours before applying and leaving it on for two hours. 1/2 hrs. You can see that a strong color can be achieved without leaving it on for an extended period of time. Overall, I'm impressed, and I'll be purchasing it again.

It appears to have restored my hair
5/5

This item was purchased from the same company as indigo. I'm really happy with both of them, as well as how my hair turned out. I grayed early in life and by the age I am now my hair is 90% white. I used commercial dyes for years but became concerned about chemicals. I ended up letting all of my dye fade away and have been living with white hair for the past two years. I was depressed because I couldn't make it look as nice as some of the other people I'd seen. Anyway, I heard about henna a few years ago, but I also heard about companies sneaking chemicals into it, failing to make it a fine powder consistency, and so on. So when I saw this brand, I decided to take a chance and buy it. I watched a lot of YouTube videos, and the end result was fantastic. I'm so happy with the results that I'm going to place another order. My extremely weak white hair also seemed to be a lot stronger after just one application.

Regrettably, I was let down
3/5

The person from whom I bought it was ecstatic to try it. However, when we received the product, it had already passed its expiration date. Three months had passed since the henna we received had been used. Normally, I would overlook something like this and give someone the benefit of the doubt. br>However, when purchasing a natural, shelf-stable product, this is not the case. Because life is so important to us, this was a disappointment for us. br>Another buyer had a similar review with an expiration date around the same time, so it's possible that the problem was isolated to this henna batch. br>br>Because we did not use the powder and the product was returned before it was opened, this review does not reflect the actual henna and its performance.

It's simple to mix and apply! I have natural 4C/4B hair and have experimented with a variety of henna powder brands

This is by far my favorite because it is finely sifted, making it easy to mix and apply! I don't think you'll be disappointed if you give it a try.

Amazing
4/5

It works great for henna, but I found that freezing it overnight and then using it the next day helped the henna to darken and last longer.

Amazing! I was a little hesitant when I placed my order, but I'm so glad I did! The color of the package was exactly the right shade of green when I opened it
5/5

There were no mysterious chunks, and the odor was exactly as it should be. (I have no idea what possessed me to do this!) I did try something new this time. ) As soon as I finished mixing it, I slathered it on my hair! I intended to let it sit overnight before applying it the next morning, but for some reason, I just started smearing it on. (Perhaps I forgot I was applying Henna instead of Indigo? ) So, I decided to keep going and wrapped my head in saran wrap, then a plastic bag, and finally a towel, and went to bed. (Putting the henna on without waiting for the dye to release made me feel like such a rebel! )br>Because I didn't know what to expect when I awoke, I avoided all mirrors until I had consumed a sufficient amount of caffeine, bringing my total to around 9. My hair was on for 5 hours. I was glad to see that the towel had turned the expected reddish-brown color when I removed it. The color brown. When it's locked up in the cling wrap sauna on my head, it seems to release dye much more quickly! My hair started out as a lovely dark coppery orange and turned into a stunning deep chestnut red! I was ready to go out and enjoy my Saturday at 11 a. m. , when I'd normally just be starting to put the henna on and wasting the rest of the day with my head wrapped up!.

The color payoff is excellent
5/5

The strength of this product impressed me, and I found the application process to be much simpler than with the previous henna I purchased from Lush. There is no melting required, and the mixture does not need to be used right away (in fact, allowing it to oxidize is recommended). The color is also very strong (even when mixed with black tea), and I was able to see some highlights in my very dark (almost black) hair. Aside from that, the mixture has yet to stain any of my pans or bowls. br>br>How did I use the powder? br>br> Allow to sit overnight or at least six hours, mixing powder with black tea (to darken the red) and a squirt of lemon juice (to help the oxidation process). The mixture should look like brown pudding when done. I used vaseline or balm to protect my ears and hairline, then applied the mixture goop to my hair and covered it with a throwaway shower cap for 4 hours before rinsing it out with a handheld shower head while leaning over the tub (to avoid staining my body) and showering (washing my hair twice). br>br>The scent is strong and earthy, but not unpleasant, and it will fade with each wash. It's a great value, and it's better than previous products I've used in terms of color payoff per powder amount.

I've never used better henna
5/5

*edit*. I wanted to go back and edit my review because I mentioned that previous henna brands had caused me itching. I did not experience any itching while using this brand, and I have retouched my roots twice since my initial review. I'm extremely happy! br>I've tried a lot of different types of henna before and wanted to give this one a try because of the low price. So far, this is the only henna I'll ever use. You get a lot for your money; it was very soft and fine, and it mixed easily, though there were clumps. When I applied it to my hair, it didn't cause any problems. 99% of the time, I'm gray. My hair is a little dry/coarse, despite the fact that I can dye it and the grey always comes back. My hair was not dry, brittle, or tangled like it had been in the past with other brands, and it turned out to be a beautiful light copper. My hair was soft after the mixture was rinsed out so quickly. The ends of the hair remained slightly dry. They are, however, always present. If I notice itching in the next few days, I'll return to this review and update it. My scalp itched like crazy with every other brand I've tried. I'm looking forward to doing it again so I can darken it up a bit.
