After that, I shampoo my hair. Because I have natural hair, I usually leave it in for at least two weeks. After 3 hours, rinse it out and shampoo it.
So far, I've only used it twice, but my hair has taken on a reddish tint. It's a delicate balance. It's clear to me now.
It contains natural dye, which is found in pure henna. It may not make much of a difference if you have dark hair.
After the age of 18, however, if you are allergic to the product, you will not be able to use it.

This product is 100% organic, with no skin irritation. But it appears to be limited to people with RED hair? I purchased it after reading all of the positive reviews, but I was unaware that it is ineffective on black hair. After putting it to the test, which took two hours to soak the powder and three hours to complete, I got red root on my black hair after 4 hours of keeping it on, and it looks awful! Worse than the grey root in terms of toxicity. I had to dash to the store to pick up some old granier and start over! br>br>Another issue with this product is the odor, which smells like bitter medicine and is difficult to remove. When you wash your hair multiple times, it's not only messy. After a workout, the sweat from my head is YELLOW, and my towel and clothes are ruined. After all, this isn't the right product for coloring black hair, and I wouldn't recommend it for anything else.
Henna is one of my favorite natural dyes, and this one is simple to apply and rinses clean. For better color release, I recommend mixing it the night before and putting the pack in your hair the next morning. The two-hour time specified on the package is insufficient for the color to fully develop, and I prefer not to leave the pack on my hair for more than four hours. I'm only going to be gone for 6 hours because I want to enjoy my weekend. To add a nice scent, I also use any leftover or expired spices such as pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, or clove. A tablespoon is usually sufficient, and I always have a few leftover pumpkin pie spices from the holidays in my cabinets, so getting to use them instead of throwing them away is a bonus. And, I'm not sure if it's a coincidence, but whenever I use clove in the mix, the color turns a lovely and deeper burgundy.
I have a lot of grey hair, and before I started using henna, my hair was dry, thin, falling out, and getting worse every time I used chemical coloring. My hair is being destroyed both in the salon and at home! br>Henna makes my hair shiny, frizzy-free, and bald-spot-free, and it's the longest it's been in years. I tell everyone I meet about henna. My favorite color is also the one I'm wearing right now. I'm growing to appreciate the color, and it does darken slightly with each application. Remember that henna dies must oxidize, so it may appear orange the first day, but it will be a much better color after three days. Alternatively, you can speed things up by using a hair dryer and flat iron. 😊.
I was a first-time henna user who read all of the reviews before applying it, so I followed the advice and made sure I applied it properly. It added a nice red highlight to all of my grays, which was a nice touch. To hide my gray, I used to use rinses, but they got all over my clothes and washed out quickly. I'm very pleased because the henna hasn't gotten on my clothes or pillows, and it's lasted three weeks. I added olive oil, as suggested by others, and my hair did not become dry. I've told my friends about it because I'm pleased with the results.
I've tried a few hennas before and this one is my favorite because 1) it smells less "earthy" than the others I've tried. When dry, it tastes more like green tea matcha, and when steeped in hot water, it tastes more like "spinachy green tea. " 2) It's a fairly smooth powder with fewer twig and wheat bits- I rarely use the overnight or long leave-in methods because I forget to plan ahead of time and don't always have a large block of time to spare. br>I rarely use the overnight or long leave-in methods because I forget to plan ahead of time and don't always have a large block of time to spare. I still have a nice reddish/auburn sheen after using the product, and I appreciate the fact that it's made with natural ingredients. br>I bought a cheap plastic condiment bottle and cut the spout off to make it easier to distribute the henna potion (while wearing gloves, of course). To help condition the hair, I add a little coconut oil to the mix. For nearly two years, I've been using this product. Henna henna henna henna hen ing!.
This is my second purchase, and I am pleased with the quality. The only request I have is that you make the bag resealable for larger quantities. That would be fantastic, especially since there is always more than enough for multiple uses. However, this is a fantastic product.
For years, I've colored my hair with henna. This one was a lot of fun to use. My hair is usually extremely rough and coarse the first day or two after henna application. (It's a word, by the way. ) ) but my hair was silky smooth and gleaming from the start with this one. The color was fantastic. There's nothing orange about it, and it's not blindingly bright. It, on the other hand, began to fade rapidly. The other henna I've used was completely permanent, whereas this will require frequent application, and as a single mother who works full-time, I'm not sure I have the time to do so. I usually sleep in my henna, but it's a pain to keep clean. Once a month, perhaps? Sure. I might just go back to my other brand if I have to use it more frequently, but I've only used it once so far, so I'll give it a few more tries to see if the staying power improves. It's worth noting that I followed the recipe exactly and didn't add any acidic lime lemon juice or apple cider vinegar, which could have made a difference.
My hair is unprocessed. I found this through a YouTube video link. I had it turned on for about two hours. My hair was softer and more defined. able to handle I'll probably leave it on for a little longer next time, but I'm happy with the results I got the first time.
