Except for the back half of my upper molars, it covers everything. I had to put it on, though, just to make sure. It is undetectable and has no bearing on how well it functions.
They're quite substantial in size. It's a little too big for your mouth.
It is, without a doubt, level. When properly molded, it is extremely comfortable to wear.

My boyfriend and I both made our own bite guards, and it was a very simple process. It was straight forward and simple to do, but the comfort when sleeping was a letdown for us. It's great that you can basically make your own custom bite guard, but the hard plastic base is so wide that when you mold it, it leaves sharp edges that irritate your tongue, and the rigid base is even more uncomfortable for your bottom teeth if you grind. I'll keep it as a backup, but I believe I'll have to pay my dentist for a new one.
I'm a night grinder who has experimented with a variety of night guard brands. All of them are grinded to a pulp by me. Some will be ready in a week, while others will be ready in a month. This one lasted a year for me the last time I bought it, and I'm buying it again. This is the nightguard for you if you grind your teeth.
I really like this item. Had been using a form made by my dentist for years at a cost of $125, but tossed it out about a year ago because it was old and gross! I was in desperate need of a replacement, so I read all the reviews and chose this brand, and I'm so glad I did! I followed the stovetop instructions and easily formed the mold; I've been wearing it for a week now and haven't had any jaw pain or headaches! This is something I would recommend to anyone who grinds their teeth at night! You get two for the price of one, which is a great deal!.
It's fantastic! For the past ten years, I've been buying this brand of mouthguard. I must grind a lot because I have to replace them every other year or so. I prefer Doctor's night guards to the others because they are more durable and don't feel like you are chewing on a wad of something. I've been able to avoid having to have any more root canals because of this product, and I'll continue to buy it in the future.
These night guards are a hit with my husband and me. These guards, in my opinion, are just as effective as a professionally made mouth guard, are less expensive, and work and last just as long as the one you get from your dentist.
These are a little tougher and shallower than the other implements I've tried. The softer ones felt a little better at first, but after my teeth sunk into them after about a week, they started to bother my gums. These could use a little more soft material for added comfort and teeth grip, but they are otherwise excellent.
I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to relax. It is, however, extremely comfortable. Setting it up was a breeze. In between your teeth, it feels like a pillow.
I've tried a few others, but this one is by far the best! It was also less expensive than the others I tried, so I'd call it a good deal!.
