This is definitely time and money saving. As far as making the first and second mouth guards, the first was simple to make. I took the time to reduce the height by two inches. It is 3 mm thick. It will be up to me if I decide whether to trim it down some more after using it tonight. Before the mouthpiece could be molded, the initial trim had to be done. If you trim it down again after it is fitted, it will not affect the indents. Additionally, if you are having the collar professionally made or remade if your dog chews it up, it won't hurt the pocketbook so much.
