Questions & Answers

What kind of latex is used in this product?

No, the package states that it is silicone and latex

Do you have a single soft material that can be molded? It makes my jaw hurt when there's a second layer of hard material on some guards?

Two single-layer silicon-like sheets are included in this pack. The instructions inside my package were nonexistent, so I just did what I have done with other brands for many The fit can be customized easily. Put boiling water in a cup or bowel that can be microwaved. The guard must be completely submerged in boiling water for 20 seconds after removing it from the microwave. With a fork, carefully remove the guard from the meat it will be If there is any excess water, let it drain. If it is warm and soft, observe yourself in a mirror as you place it in your mouth. Put your fingertip on the guard and try to draw air out of between your teeth and the guard. With your fingers, you can make the guard perfectly fit your mouth. These are great if you get 2. I get 2 for the price of one, so it is a win-win. The products are great and I have recommended them People who commented that they did not like it probably meant others did as well. It wasn't heated or molded properly because I did not know how to do it. It will be firm, but not too firm once it has cooled again. As I have been using many brands for the past 10 years, I have come to appreciate them all. Once the first molding has been done, you can repeat the warming procedure if you feel it was not done properly the first time. You can only use it once. Good Luck,

Can this work for me if I have a pretty bad overbite, as my upper and lower teeth don't meet in front? On the lower part, I am accustomed to using a guard. ?

No, it does not work. It took me some time to adjust, but it was a lot better than $1600 at the dentist. So they do not grind their teeth, it covers them. The new one that I am going to make will be cut on the sides and wherever necessary before I mold it to see if I can use it on my lower teeth when the current one wears out. I got the 2 for 1 order, so I have another pair in case I am unable to modify it

I am deeply disappointed in this project
3/5

This product was recommended to me by many people, but it disappointed me when I used it. Originally, I was going to replace my 2-speed motor with this I am wearing a different brand of night guard from a year ago. My old one fits well over my teeth and stays in place even when I open my mouth, so that it is comfortable to wear I have a night guard that only fits loosely on my teeth therefore, it won't stay in place and I'll see it move around in my mouth when I lie down in bed. I think it's because it doesn't fit well that it isn't comfortable enough to wear Trying the other one in the package, I got the same result so I went back to the old night guard. I will look for that particular brand in the future.

I have ever seen a worse night guard! As a night guard user, I have been using them for many A majority of them are similar
3/5

On one occasion I came across these on sale, so I bought them They sounded interesting, so I decided to test them out. I liked the way it molded and how it looked The experience was fine. As a matter of fact, it felt really heavy and heavy It is strong, and it is good Seeing it at first glance, I thought it would last a long time, however I couldn't even wear it throughout the night due to its bulky design making my jaw hurt so much that I couldn't open my mouth to eat breakfast. The soreness of this thing alone is enough to make me sick! *I wouldn't recommend it to heavy grinders who tend to get sore jaws, or to people with really small mouths, as it feels more like a football mouth guard. In fact, that's exactly what it The worst thing that could happen to a comfortable night's It is very likely that you'll burn your fingers during the fitting/molding process, as some people have mentioned. In addition, if you leave the entire thing in the hot water for one second too long, it will melt into a big unusable ball. You have no reason to complain about getting two! It is likely you will ruin the first one since you think you're getting an extra for free. As you can tell, it's way too hard, and not really built to cushion teeth during grinding. There was no way to save it, and so I threw it away You can also get the same old kind most are made from. I also suffered from severe bleeding from my gums. The mouthwash isn't for people with sensitive gums or teeth (like when used to combat sensitivity from receding gums or nerve pain from sensitivity). around your gum line completely, up higher than most other kinds of gum, which can be an issue for some that the description (at least at the time of my purchase) did not mention. The device does not custom-mold to your teeth to hold on, but rather it conforms to your gums and teeth. It stays in place because you create a vacuum by sucking it in. The vacuum will not work well (especially if you have any gaps between the teeth). If your molding isn't precise enough, the vacuum may not work well. That should have been described in the product description, in my opinion! Please note to the product manufacturers Read what the other manufacturers do and emulate them. The solution is not to fix what doesn't need fixing. We are sorry about this epic failure. The idea of giving away an extra for free since you either know it is a crap product or the plastic is so different that most people are going to ruin the first one is a complete cop out if you believe you will be able to charge anything near what the typical product sells Take a look at the drawing board again. Even better, just copy manufacturer after manufacturer who gets it right and does it well Your reviews are great! You do not deserve patronage from your customers for treating one of the most valuable parts of our body with so little care or decent quality design. The cost of keeping teeth and gums healthy is staggering Most often, people get these devices because they are already experiencing problems, or because their dentist recommended them to prevent You are essentially disrespecting the financial investment they made in their teeth and dental care. Such a horrible product should never be allowed on the market because it can affect their health. Despite the fact that they say there is no place for ethics in business, the world is rapidly moving that way as consumers look for companies that recycle, and they enjoy doing business with local businesses. It is important for them to make quality products for their customers. Don't fall behind, or else I predict a backlash from angry customers. Also noticed a lot of the worst reviews were removed from when I originally bought this item & they don't seem to be in the current version I was going through A few of them I recognized, but a good number of the ones that detailed the design issues and deficiencies It has been removed from their list of health issues. What did you intend to accomplish with that? If customers need to decide if a product is right for them, shouldn't they be allowed to read an array of unbiased reviews first? Has the honesty finally hurt your profits as more people opted to stay away? A shameful act. I'm so sorry. Perhaps some disgruntled reviewer is receiving an incentive for taking down their negative reviews, or Amazon has paid to filter out the worst ones, or perhaps something has went wrong with the interwebs that is only displaying mostly positive reviews (& sometimes even negative reviews). It was mostly positive except for a few mildly negative comments. Was what you put out there a flop, just like the lady who lost all her teeth due to your product, or the one who later suffered chronic jaw problems? Was a company called Image Control hired by you to handle it for you so that you could continue selling a potentially dangerous product under false pretenses? You have some issues, it seems. I am not out to ruin your business, but I am going to tell it like it is. On the plus side, the case that the headphones come with is quite lovely. It is embellished with purple flowers and a purple ribbon. A little mirror is inside, like a compact. I plan to use it to put on I love this. Additionally, I suspect a positive review to have been planted as well, as this product previously got 2 stars. The positive side of things is far outweighed by the negative! BRING YOUR NOTES I did buy & I did verify my purchase on mine, although it may not say "verified purchase" Take the product for a test drive. In my review form it did not ask if I wanted to submit. I have no idea how that works. If it finds a match, I'm not sure if the site can tell what you've purchased previously to add "amazon verified purchase"? Since it was months ago, I'm not sure if it will show up. Whenever I review a product, I only consider it if I have actually used it. The review was not paid for, and I did not receive any payment for it Aside from my own experiences, I am not motivated by any vested interests when I leave a review. The same thing happened to me when I bought it through Amazon here. It was A 2 for 1 deal and a free case makes this deal 99 cents. The following is just based on my personal experience, but I felt compelled to mention the negative reviews missing and/or incorrect The experience I had was similar to some of what others have said. Usually I only leave a review if I really liked or really hated a product (or if I feel ripped off, which was the case here). That is why I mentioned how I was shocked to find that there were no negative reviews, as I would hate to think anyone else might buy this product without even seeing an honest selection of reviews. That's like 4 out of 5 people were negative! I mean, it's a huge fraction. My memory of these is limited to three There are five positive reviews left, which are still Ah, I see. *I scratch my head* So just so people know, this product caused irreversible jaw damage to someone else, and it ruined someone else's teeth. There was a period of sustained chronic headaches weeks after stopping use of 3 of the worst ones which did not occur anymore. YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THOSE WHO SAY THIS PLACE HAD SERIOUS PROBLEMS! Don't bother with the extra few dollars and just get the regular type that most are made of instead. It doesn't make sense for Some times, it is, and other times, it is not The answer is not always yes. Those are the kinds of things that may end up costing the customer more than they would have to pay in dental repairs. It is not recommended for anyone with severe dental problems. There could be an alignment problem with your teeth, a loose filling or a sore spot, or an inflamed gum and an unhealthy gum line. Interestingly enough, another reviewer (also like me) reported that this device caused bleeding gums (which can injure nerves) when it cut into the gum line. Be sure to talk with your doctor before switching brands or trying out a different style!.

I like it! My goal was to purchase this guard because I grind my teeth, not clench them
5/5

Almost no food would taste good to me with so much sensitivity at the points where my teeth contacted The torturous taste of grain bread (the kind with the seeds) reminded my mother that she had to give up eating wheat. Just one week after using this product, my skin has become so much less sensitive. What a great idea! It is difficult to get this molded so it stays in place for a long time, as other reviewers have noted. I took three days to complete There have been four attempts. In other words, what you just have to do is try and get all the saliva out of the front of the retainer so you get a good mold on your teeth, while pressing your fingers lightly on the part that goes over your gums so you don't pull the whole thing off. If you are trying to get a good fit, you might have to do it several times as the plastic doesn't stay malleable very long. As stated in the instructions, there are warnings that teethmarks should not appear on the guard part that touches your bottom teeth when it is in your mouth (it is quite difficult to not bite down while it is in your mouth). If you bite down during the molding process (and squish the plastic away), then you may be able to bite through it. But if you're careful not to (if you chew your food), then you shouldn't have to worry about biting through it. I was not expecting the guard to be as thick as it is. expected it to be nearly as thick and hard as an invisalign retainer, but it is only two-thirds as thick as that. Thickness is three times greater, and material is very cuddly. As I tried to bite down on the bottom part of the guard, it did not seem to be able to indent at all. However, a few months from now, this might not still be true. DO NOT FORGET TO TRIM YOUR GUARD SO THAT IT ONLY COVERS YOUR FIRST MOLAR. In the end, my dentist said not to get one from him, but to just get one from a drugstore. The dentist warned me, however, that if you do not trim the guard so that it only covers your first molars, it could lead to TMJ or a locked jaw. Once I molded it, I trimmed it by cutting rounded corners and it turned out fine.

Although not very comfortable, it is a low-cost choice
3/5

The dentist recommended that I buy a mouth guard to keep the teeth from grinding and clamping. As the price was right, I thought I would give it a try after reading the previous reviews. I have given this star rating based on my reasons below. This is a. Although my teeth aren't perfectly aligned, repairing for the first time was very simple, but I had to do a few steps to get a fairly tight ** 1. As I did not want to make any trimming modifications after only a couple of uses, I only removed the tab that is attached for dipping into When I removed it, the area left a rough spot. I trimmed it as close as possible. After sleeping with the rough spot for two nights, my upper lip became sore from the rubbing. 1. 2. 3. As this is my first time using this, the tray felt somewhat larger than my teeth, but I didn't want to cut it until I'd tried it at least once. As a result of the rough texture mentioned above for 2 nights now, the guard is rather thick and I dislike It seems to me that I would have to trim the jacket to make it fit more comfortably. When I wake up, my mouth, teeth, and gums feel tired and a bit sore, more so than when I don't wear them at all. Choosing another brand and trying it again is the best option for me.
