They reformulated it to remove belladonna, which was previously present and was the source of the recall. Belladonna is no longer present in this product.
It relieves teething pain for a few hours, and while every baby is different, it seems to work well for our four-month-old. The older ones with Belladonna worked a little better, but it only takes a few complaints about children's products for them to be put on the shelf.

I was curious as to why they weren't available at Target. Now that I'm aware of the situation, I'm rethinking my decision to purchase these tablets. They ought to be taken down from Amazon's website.
These had previously been recalled due to the presence of belladonna. This product was reformulated without it after the negative effects were discovered. All of the perilous risks have been eliminated. br>These, in my opinion, are the best teething tablets on the market! They're great, and my teething baby gets excited just seeing the bottle when she's in pain! They dissolve quickly and help my child cope with teething.
I've been using them for a few months and only recently learned that they were recalled last year due to the risk of seizures and death. They are no longer in use by me.
Attention: If your baby has a dairy sensitivity, you should be aware of this.
After my baby began waking up in the middle of the night after taking these pills, which is extremely unusual, I decided to read the reviews. I read a one-star review among the five-star reviews that directed me to the FDA website, which I'm glad I did-- The FDA website lists all of the symptoms my baby was experiencing as to why THIS PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED BY THE FDA. It raised my baby's heart rate and made her constipated, both of which caused her to wake up frequently.
These tablets are a homeopathic remedy, not medicine. As a result, the FDA has no control over them. The FDA recommends using a clean finger or a rubber teething ring to send a message to the gums, emphasizing the dangers of these "remedies. " Make your own investigation; Take my word for it, but don't take it from me!.
Since her teeth began their torturous descent through the gums six months ago, she has happily and willingly let me pop them in her mouth, and we usually only need one dose for relief. We've done extra doses - those darn teeth have been close to breaking point recently, and we've done additional doses - It is the only way she sleeps at night - as they say, four times per hour is standard. however, on a sporadic basis - It also helps to get rid of those owie moments throughout the day. br>In case anyone is interested, the magical potion we use in conjunction with the tablets is called "Punkin Butt Teething Oil," and it's made up of only the most basic and basic ingredients, just like these. I'm going to get a bottle of that stuff for every new mom I meet. And then there are these. One- Two.
When he cries in pain and drools profusely during the day, I give him the regular and he immediately relaxes. He likes the taste, and now that he's over 7 months old, I shake the bottle before giving him the tablets, and he smiles because he knows I'll take care of his pain!.
