I've experimented with a plethora of mouth guards. The majority of them were literally spit out while I slept. I realized that too much plastic in my mouth was not good for me. So I've looked for mouth guards with the least amount of plastic several times, but I've always ended up with mouth guards that I had to cut before molding because there was too much plastic - It hurts when you have to cut them because the cut edge is always a little sharper, no matter what you do. I finally realized that using mouth guards on my bottom teeth rather than my top teeth is 20 times more comfortable for me - However, all mouth guards advise you to mold to your top teeth for some reason! I guess I never looked, because none of the other mouth guards I've tried specifically stated that they were designed for MEN, even though I suppose MEN are the default humans or something. I started waking up with my jaw clicking and cracking about a month ago, making talking and chewing a nightmare. I was pleased to discover that it is designed for women, has a smaller mouth opening, and is thinner than other mouth guards. Boom- sold! br>br>Getting four guards for such a low price is fantastic! They're very simple to mold, and the instructions were simple to follow. I messed up one guard because I wanted to see if I could make one for my bottom teeth just in case. Yeah, I had to toss that one out because these are clearly designed for top teeth. The one I made for my top teeth, on the other hand, is extremely comfortable. br>I can sleep through the night without feeling compelled to take it out, and it's more comfortable because it's thinner. I'm still waking up with a sore jaw, but that's probably to be expected when you have a jacked up jaw. At this point, I'd rather have a little discomfort than continue to damage my jaw and have my teeth fall out due to gum recession from clenching my teeth.

My teeth have worn down as a result of my inability to keep them still, especially on the right side. My bite is now uneven, and my teeth are extremely sensitive; this is the first mouth guard I've tried, and I believe I was fortunate in choosing the right brand! The guard was simple to mold (once I got the hang of it after destroying the first one). The guards, fortunately, come in four-packs. I can always make another if I lose one, and I'll still have one for the future. The guard is extremely comfortable to wear and has a secure fit. It doesn't reveal much, so I can wear it out in public, though I prefer not to do so while eating. The most important benefit is that my speech is unaffected while I'm wearing the guard, and it doesn't fall out while I'm speaking! Because I have a small mouth and short teeth, I needed to trim the tops a little. Contouring was the most difficult and time-consuming part of the process. As a result, having two sizes for these guards would be ideal.
