I'm going to give it a zero because this information was not mentioned anywhere on the page that this item was made in China! I would not have bought it if I had seen it first. After receiving those items, I used "ctrl F) and the keyword "China" to triple-check the page. The word "China" does not appear anywhere on the item's page. No one had mentioned it to me, which surprised me. There could be, but I haven't seen any feedback. Anyways. Don't get me wrong: I'm a big believer in the power of positive thinking I have no animosity toward China; in fact, I was born in the country. I'm constantly hearing horror stories about China's products and produce containing harmful ingredients. So, let alone an open wound, I'm not willing to put this canker sore medication into my mouth! That information, of course, was not included in the pictures on the page! Thank you very much. Return! It's a good thing I bought two of them, one of which was made in Italy.
I use it in a blend with clove oil and it's fantastic. Applying with a q tip lasts longer and is more effective than using a cheaper brand. Because I have severe dental problems, I require the addition of clove oil to achieve complete relief. Do not swallow. Clove oil can be found on Amazon, and it's hard to come by anywhere else. It will numb almost any toothache, but you'll need to dilute it with another oil or this gel. Because of the clove oils, the gel lasts much longer than cheaper gels, which dissolve in water and wash away much faster.
I always joke that my teeth are made of wood because I brush and floss religiously (my dental hygienists say I'm a dream when they do my annual cleanings), but I still get cavities and have problems all of the time. This is something I've used for a variety of purposes: sore gums, exposed tooth roots, and cavity pain (pre-treatment) filling). The only thing I wish it was a little more pasty than gel so that it would adhere better - If I'm in a lot of pain, I can go through a tube of this pretty quickly. However, out of all of the products I've tried, this one appears to be the most effective.

I first used this product to relieve minor pain until I could see a dentist, but after just one use on mild pain, I was overcome with the worst pain I've ever experienced, and this product made my pain worse than it was before I used it. My tooth ache was so bad as a result of this gel that I had to take medicine just to breathe. It didn't help me at all; in fact, it made matters worse. I'm not sure if it was due to expiration or poor quality, but I felt better after trying a similar brand product from Oragel. For nothing, I thank you.
Although I prefer the liquid version, this is a good value for money and far more effective than OraGel.
Everyone should have a tube in their medicine cabinet or, better yet, in their first-aid kit. I had one, but when I went to use it, the tube had hardened. A tooth of mine was recently broken in half. Brushing caused pain due to the exposed nerve. I went to the dentist the next day (the same day this item arrived). To keep it fresher, I'll wrap it in foil and place it in a small ziplock bag. I like that Amazon sells these common (and not-so-common) items.
