Fixodent, on the other hand, does not have this problem. This is not a criticism of the seller, who did nothing wrong and provided 5-star service, and from whom I would order again. Fixodent, on the other hand, has released a "new" formula for their unflavored denture cream that is nothing short of a disaster. Unlike the old formula, which was much thinner, it comes out of the tube in a thick, difficult-to-control line (like toothpaste). Controlling and applying it is a lot easier. The new formula is a disgusting greenish gray snot color. The old formula was a pinkish color that looked like natural gum color and applied in a thin line that was easy to apply without making a mess. The new formula also doesn't hold up as well as the old one, so you'll have to use more of it, and it makes a huge mess once the dentures are in. Because the previous formula contained zinc, it's possible that's why this product isn't holding up as well.
Since getting my dentures in October of 2013, I've been using Fixodent. Fixodent is my go-to brand because it's effective and comes in a wide range of flavors. It is something I would recommend to anyone who wears dentures or partial dentures.
I can't seem to locate this Fixodent Free in the 2. Most of the stores I visit have a 40 size. I tried some of the other Fixodent products, but they all taste like Scope to me. As a result, I was ecstatic to discover that I could buy this product on Amazon. My mouth is irritated by most other brands. Fixodent is my sole source of dental care. It keeps my dentures in place all day and allows me to eat whatever I want without them falling out. In addition, I received my package in a very short period of time.
WHY? This goo is NOT Fixodent-Free, so proceed with caution. It's "Zinc Free," which means it won't harden in your mouth; instead, it'll ooze and goo until you swallow it and have to apply more. I thought I was getting "Fixodent Free," but it turns out that what Amazon suggests in search isn't always what you're looking for.
I've been using this product for a long time and find it to be the most effective for my needs. The other options do not appeal to my palate.
Fixodent seemed to last longer than other brands to me, and my dentist agreed. It is, without a doubt, the best product on the market.
This item is extremely effective! This company is fantastic to buy from; they have excellent customer service and are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. There was a minor mix-up in one of my orders, but they responded quickly and made sure everything was resolved. I will definitely be ordering from them again!.
The price is very reasonable, which I appreciate. It's less expensive than what you'd find in local stores. I'll keep buying from Amazon as long as they have this product in stock.
