I'm glad I was able to get a hold of it. There is no flavor like Poli- grip,br>excellent adhesion, and, most importantly, Fixodent is preferable to Poli-Dent because the adhesive is easy to remove from the gums. grip!.
My husband's dentures are kept in place for at least two days with this product. He hasn't found any other product that works like this. I apply the fixodent to his dentures because he is incapable of doing so. My only issue is that I have a hard time getting it out of the tube. I'm not sure if it's because of my arthritic hands, the tubing's thickness, or the Fixodent itself. It makes no difference because the product is worth the effort because it works so well!.
They ooze a lot more than similar types/brands I've used before.
I had to stop using this product after a few weeks because I developed large ulcers in my mouth that refused to heal. I believe it was due to the zinc, which I read on the label can cause health problems, and I wish I had known that before I bought it.
The size of the nozzle tip is excessive. The quantity is uncontrollable and wasteful. I was hoping for a small, narrow tip like this.
Overall, an outstanding product. It's not easy to get rid of them.
The competitor poli partials, which is out of stock everywhere, is ten times better. Although 83515968 is not identical to Fixodent's other partials, it is a good alternative.
