These are without a doubt the best braces flossers. I've had braces for four years and now own a stake in this business (just kidding). They're way too expensive. There is no other option but to pay for them and receive them. br>br>(Dear company, please reduce your prices; they are made of plastic and floss, for goodness sake, and we are already suffering from braces. ) I could get Disney Plus, but I prefer to pay for these on a monthly basis).
The design of these flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing flossing floss flossing floss flossing floss I was really hoping they would work out. The floss attachment away from the handle is good, and they are supposedly made in the United States, but they look more like a Chinese product. The connection to the thinner flat bar that fits between the teeth and braces is a nightmare. It is loose on 90 of them and so you can’t actually get to the gum line when flossing the floss is so loose that you can’t get to the% When flossing, the bars bend as well, causing the floss to bow even further. I'm not sure what I'll do with all of my bags, but I'm thinking of buying the competition, which I've tried and found to be superior.
I bought several of these to address the issue of flossing while wearing a lower cemented retainer. According to one review, the thin paddle could fit between the wire and the gap on the inside. This isn't working for me because 1) Even with the small paddle, there isn't enough wire to get behind each tooth because each tooth has a wire mount. The spikey toothpick brush is on the narrow side and pokes inside. br>However, it fits between the gaps and can do the job, just not the flossing I was hoping for. br>It's a part of the toolkit, and it's useful but not perfect.
This is a fantastic product that makes flossing less of a chore for me. I recently received braces and had never flossed before, but braces require that you pay attention to your oral hygiene. br>br>Flossing with regular string was a chore that I despised. But after seeing these flossers in a dentist's video, I had to give them a try. They also help me save a significant amount of time. br>br>I found that brushing around your brackets with the other side of the flosser is a little too harsh, and I'm concerned that it will scratch the enamel off your teeth. When cleaning around my brackets, I prefer to use softer individual brushes. However, this is merely a personal preference; another person may prefer the hardness of the flosser brush. br>br>In addition, because my teeth are in braces and aren't perfectly straight to begin with, there are some tighter areas where the flosser won't fit. Again, this is simply a problem that I encountered as a result of the nature of my own teeth. This would not be an issue for someone with straighter teeth. I use super floss in the two areas where the flosser won't fit and it works fine. br>br>Wonderful and convenient product that literally saved my gums' life!.
They do an excellent job of keeping things clean if you just keep using them. I use a Waterpik to remove the majority of the debris. These, on the other hand, are eligible for the plaque that my Waterpik is unable to receive.
Instead of Superfloss, my daughter's dentist recommended that we try these. She flossed twice a day, and I'm not sure if it was because of her gums or because the flossers couldn't reach where they were needed, but these didn't work for her. She used these for about a month, and her gums looked as if she hadn't flossed in a long time. Superfloss was reintroduced.
I could only use these on a few teeth comfortably, so I had to use regular floss/super floss for the rest (which defeats the purpose).
My braces have left me with a lot of gingivitis. I was hoping that by using these, flossing would become simple and quick enough to do on a daily basis. But the floss on the plastic is terrible, and it's surprisingly difficult to wedge into my teeth when I've never had a problem with regular drugstore floss, a fancy brand, or SuperFloss. br>br>Unfortunately, there is far too much hassle to use. In a pinch, I'll use threaders and regular floss, or superfloss. EDIT: br>br> Every time you try to use the pick end, you get stabbed by a spiky bit from where the flossers are snapped off from the grid where it's manufactured. Unfit for human consumption. Is it true that I'll have to file all 30 of these down per bag? It's ridiculous. Simply go to Walgreens and purchase regular floss and picks, or choose a different brand.
