I despise flossing, but after getting braces, I was told that flossing is a must for proper oral hygiene while wearing braces. So I went online and found these, as well as a water flosser. These were recommended to me by a friend, and my family and I absolutely adore them. If you have braces, use these platypus flossers instead of ortho floss. We ordered these two times, and both times they arrived with the most overpowering perfume scent. It stinks so bad that you can smell it from across the room, and the odor has even spread to the flossers. I can't believe this is how they're supposed to smell. THIS IS A MUST IF YOU WEAR BRACELETS! Previously, the only way to keep my mouth clean was to use a costly water flosser. I'd use my water flosser to clean my teeth two times. I did it three times because I wasn't sure how clean my teeth were getting. The fact that I can feel the floss against my teeth assures me that everything is being cleaned properly. I still floss with water, but if I had to choose between the two, I'd go with these.
