This feature lets you customize the amount of inflation to meet your needs. My lower back gets a great deal of movement with it, even as a person of normal size. Additionally, I would expect it to be effective for larger individuals as well.
The unit has two parts, one of which can be used alone or together. Your upper unit goes on your neck, while the lower unit goes across your spine, depending how you want it placed.

Not quite two years ago, I had spinal decompression therapy to relieve nerve sensitivity caused by compressed discs in my neck and lower back. I was able to recover from the procedure with the mechanical unit the chiropractors office used, the therapy was helpful, but since it is a newer method, my insurance does not cover it. We felt some stiffness, vertigo, and pain in our necks. Having decided to try it, I am glad I did. I've used it and it works! It's a bit awkward to figure out where to place the pump under the hips, not so much on the neck, and how much pump pressure to apply. The one who told me about spinal traction was my massage therapist, who avoided surgery by undergoing spinal traction for her back and hip pain. At times, she does require some 'tune-ups', too. As a result, she was in significant pain today, so much so that she would not have been able to walk around the block. As I was going to take Tylenol, I decided to wait until we were done testing. During her use of a dual unit, she only used the lower back portion. She had to search for a position that would help for a few minutes. The pain was increasing at first, but she squirmed around a bit and got the upper and lower pumps working separately, and that's when she found the right combination. Her joyful yell of wowser was infectious! I just found the solution to my Some of the instructions for the unit suggest lifting and tucking your pelvis with hips, varying the pump pressure, and sometimes simply lying on it to stretch or rest. It is similar to the professional treatments where the mechanised traction increases, stops, releases and moves further and continues in various cycles in order to help pull the muscles and connective tissue, stretch gently and release in cycles in order to prevent over stretching or reflex muscle spasms. It takes 20 minutes for the discs to begin to hydrate following the pro treatments. I was quite sore and my neck was stretched to the point that I felt like a bobblehead at times during my early treatments. Compared to the pro treatment, this unit is more effective. It is important that the progress and safety of a treatment are monitored. Anyone who is considering professional treatment will never hear me discourage them. might be a good adjunct to the professional treatment. It might be started at home before the treatment with very short sessions to ease muscles soreness and build up to a 20 minute session. As my friend did with the spot treat, I'm lucky enough to be able to do it as well- Following a single use of my lower back unit, she plans to purchase it. I believe this will be very valuable if the unit does hold up well for maintaining the pro treatment. In my opinion, this is overpriced for what it's made of, so I gave it a 4-star rating instead of a 5-star rating. It will be 5 stars after a year if it holds up. While I do not mind the fact that a company may be able to recover the costs of research and development on an effective product, the price is higher than I would expect for a product made with the materials it is. Eventually, it will be changed to a 5. 0 rating if it does hold up.
Taking this therapy in place of another professional round of treatment would be well worth the cost. However, I would caution anyone to do this without consulting a physical therapist or chiropractor first. For the 2 people who have tried it, both have found it beneficial. Whether we are feeling better or worse is a matter of feeling what we are supposed to feel after a Begin by choosing different places under your hips, try varying the level of pressure on each of the 2 pumps, and remember to do the cycles of inflating, hip rocking, resting, releasing, and then repeating this motion. Expansion and release help rehydrate the discs, and they are gentler than stretching the muscles and connective tissues. It is common to feel a bit sore when starting such a program. The advantage of doing short treatments at home and working for only 20 minutes is that you can do so whenever you have the time. If you listen to your body, try variations on pressure and position, and when you find the right mix, it works!.
It is not uncommon for me to sit at the computer most of the day. In addition, I like to slouch while walking and sitting in a chair. I have thus put my head in a flexed position and my cervical spine in an asymmetrical I decided to light my bank account on fire and buy this product on a chance, because I did not want to apply for the next Hunchback of Notre Dame movie. As a one time consumer, I really felt like my neck was sitting back more in line with my spine and my posture was much better. In an effort to go all out (not recommended), I applied the product directly to a hard surface floor and left it As a result, I was very sore. Having said that, the exercises didn't cause pain, and I put a few quick exercises in to enhance my strength. My exercise routine after using the posture pump included chin tucks and a few core exercises, and I finished by doing a barrel roll off of the machine. Highly recommended. Make sure to listen to your body and take good care of it. Only allow yourself 5 minutes if 5 minutes is all you can handle.
From between the shoulder blades down to the very bottom of my skull, my upper back was giving me chronic pain. When I used the product for the first time, I heard and felt a loud 'crack' like you would hear or feel if you went to the It has been a very long time since I felt such a low level of pain.
It would have been nice to have had the foot placement when I purchased it. However, if I had had this done prior to my spinal disk removal in my neck, I wouldn't have had to undergo There is no doubt in my mind. Dr John Bergman of California provided a video in which he explained that it opens up pathways to feed the injured disk. My pain is relieved well to very well with this medicine. Depending on the time of There are also days it may be extremely painful, other days it may not be too bad, and sometimes it may even be just pressure. A person's body experiences various types of weather during hurricane season based on what they've experienced the last time. It's just an unfortunate fact of life. Nutritional needs met, etc. I've noticed that it is important to maintain a good range of motion which Bergman recommends in order for any of his recommended treatments to work. Also, maintain a healthy diet and get plenty of rest. Adding whole foods and water to plant-based supplements will ensure good health.
Wow, what a game changer! L5S1 herniated disk, so simple yet so effective. As a result of a lot of hard training and stretching, it is able to open your spine more than anything Thank you so much!.
As it just arrived today, I have only used it twice so far Using it two to three times a day for a maximum of 15 minutes should be done for beginners, but up to five minutes is recommended for beginners. The first session lasted for a few minutes, and the second was for five minutes or so before I went to sleep. Once I see the results of my testing, I will update my review. As far as my back is concerned, it seems to work pretty well. Since I have a herniated disc in my lower spine, I am hoping that this will speed up its healing. This item is overpriced compared with what is included. That is the main reason I have not given it five stars. $150 should be the maximum I'm willing to pay.
Now that I've had this device for a month, I know its strengths and weaknesses. It is difficult for me to move around due to the pain in my neck and lower back. An unusually small herniated disc has developed. My workouts began to suffer as a result of this. The compound movements I attempted to do resulted in me being unable to squat. Doing plyometric exercises was a total failure as well. Within two weeks of using this device, I noticed a reduction in pain. In my right hip, there is very little soreness and the numbness on the right side of my leg is gone. Squats and deadlifts, as well as plyometric exercises, have returned to my routine. It's better than not being able to move at all, even if I'm doing these exercises at moderate weights. Throughout the week, I use my device for 15 minutes two times a day. The stiffness in my neck has completely disappeared. experience pain in my lower back on a given day, but it will vary depending on my training intensity. To get the most out of my posture pump, I do corrective exercises for my lower back.
There is a difference in quality between the original Posture Pump and similar knockoffs that are more affordable. As long as you follow the instructions, you'll be fine. Having accustomed my neck to the posture pump, I am now able to use it daily to stretch, relieve tightness and improve flexibility in my neck. Wonderful product! I absolutely love it!.
