A few years ago, I injured my neck while weight lifting, and I find temporary relief from stretching my neck. The majority of the time, I will straighten my head out. I found the DDS easy to set up and put on, as well as the instructions to be very clear and easy to follow. During the first couple days of using it, I followed the directions to set the pressure at a low level. felt a lift in my neck, although I believe that it would have been better with more pressure to really get to the root Nevertheless, I gave it a week with this low pressure and then started gradually increasing it. By the time I reached the top level of pressure, I could tell that I was going to have a problem. As a result of being required to wear it, the unit strained my chin to the point of pain and discomfort. In addition, by the time I had it off, I mainly focused on treating the problem with my chin rather than exploring the benefits to my neck. My physical therapist recommended that I stop using this device because I've had TMJ problems in the past and be wary of using this one because I might continue to develop them if I use it. Despite my best efforts, this device did not work for me. Feel free to try it for yourself, but it unfortunately did not work for me so I am.
After complaining of pinched nerves and radiation to my left arm, I ordered this cervical traction unit. During my wait for the delivery of the device, I put myself through a great deal of strain, with little result.
I received the device and used it right away for 30 minutes. It was almost immediately apparent that relief had arrived. I ceased to have cervicalgia after two days of two sessions per day, and my left upper extremity was pain free after two days. In my opinion, this traction device is great.
This neck collar was prescribed to me by my doctor. My insurance did not cover the price at the surgical supply store, but I found it on Amazon and am more than happy I didn't have to pay three times more than the cost. There are no complaints about the comfort of the chair. Make sure you follow the directions! Try not to inflate too much too fast. You must do it in small.
Among the dislikes Making sure I correctly put together the neck brace and compression part wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. The hand pump is great and doesn't require a lot of pumping to expand the brace, but it was harder to let the air out when it expanded. There is a specific instruction showing how much air to let out at a time, but the instructions on how to decompress it after use were incorrect. By pressing on the clasp until it deflated completely, I was able to deflate the air bag. Using the data The feel of relief I get when I go to physical therapy and lie down to do traction was not as convincing, not sure if it's because I needed to sit while using this device, or if it was because this device can only be used with a sitting position. Using this product while lying down is not permitted. In spite of that, after about 15 minutes It actually caused me more tightness in the neck than relief after 20 minutes. 7) so it cannot The reason I am returning this device is that I need something to work while lying.
A bulging disk in my neck is causing me pain. The results I am seeing are positive after using it almost every day for three weeks. There is no longer any pain in my hands or arms.
I had DDS Max cervical traction for 6 years before, so I know the quality of the product. When this one started to leak after 3 weeks, I received the most amazing service from DDS Max to fix it! Thank you so much for your assistance and your ability to remedy my situation in a timely manner! I am really pleased with the service you provided.
A couple of others worked. I found a solution to this problem. It makes sense for a designer to create. We searched and searched for a professional looking template, but we weren't able to find one. boasted of stacked decks, but in fact looked a mess Up airplane neck pillows (without any professional, systematic thought of what needs to be done. The use of this remedy should be guided by a healthcare professional, but definitely should not be overlooked for its results. Unbeknownst to me, neck pain is so prevalent. As the Health care system seems not to be able to just get to it, Happy might not be able to get it here.
Although I personally did not like it, I am grateful that others seem to be able to use it. I found that the most uncomfortable part of the experience to be the physical discomfort. Despite the fact that it provides traction, it also compresses your jaw, resulting in a "clenched mouth. ". I suspect that the arteries running down the side of your neck might be contributing to the problem. What's the reason? I felt a rush of warmth envelop my head as soon as I removed the device. The size of my shoulders is approximately a size 16 for a 6-foot tall, 180-pound man. This neck has 5 ribs. I did not find it useful. The idea is good, but I did not find it helpful.
