These billiard balls are made of a low-grade stainless steel. It's possible that the Top Chi baoding balls are made of regular steel that's been coated in stainless steel and then chromed. They aren't solid stainless steel of any kind. I used a kitchen magnet to test them, and the magnet was strongly drawn to the Top Chi baoding balls. Worse yet, these baoding balls are more expensive than good stainless steel baoding balls. br>Search eBay for "stainless steel baoding balls" to find high-quality stainless baoding balls made of 304 stainless steel. My boading balls came from a seller named "gosensball," and they passed the kitchen magnet test (they weren't at all magnetic). On the downside, the trip from China to California took nearly a month. br>I bought four stainless baoding balls from eBay (38mm and 50mm) and four 2" Dark Grey balls from Amazon. To keep the eggs from rolling around, I ordered a wooden egg tray on Amazon. Go to Amazon and type in "egg tray scottish. ".
com, it comes with a free pair of Baoding balls. com. The balls themselves are a little too small for me (they're more like miniature shot putts). They're quite heavy, so be aware of what you're getting into. They provide a good finger and wrist workout for me while I'm watching TV or doing other things. br>br>On baodingballs, there is a special offer for this. It was the website com that finally convinced me to buy this item. Basically, you buy it, enter your Amazon order number on the website, and they ship it to you once your Amazon order arrives. The free pair they sent me, however, was the incorrect model. I decided to toss it out because it was still a good size. Overall, a good product, but I wouldn't have paid $20 for it if there hadn't been a buy one, get one free deal.
The density of these is appealing to me. It's easier to complete the exercises if you have something like this. Steel balls should not stretch, so I'm not sure why stretch was chosen as a star rating option. So, a five for not stretching as much as it should have? The container is also not stretchy, which is a plus. It's a thick, soft felt type that doesn't appear to have been worn out despite being in my bag every day and tossed around. Other people in my office who were suffering from arm/wrist/hand pain and anxiety benefited from these balls. I wish the case was a little shorter so that the balls weren't so far apart when they weren't in use.
My physical therapist instructed me to twirl the Baoding balls in the palm of my right hand for 2 minutes in a clockwise direction after I had wrist surgery to increase the mobility of my fingers and hand. Why clockwise? Because it's more convenient - For the left hand, the opposite is true; I got these balls to practice at home because they look like the ones the therapist uses. I'm working on the counter right now. It's very satisfying to see the progress I'm making with my right hand in a clockwise direction. Captain Queeg (Humphrey Bogart) is seen playing with Baoding balls in a stressful situation in the movie The Caine Mutiny. Check out some Youtube videos to see what the pros can do with Baoding balls!.
I intended to return this because the balls were too small for my hands, but I'm now obligated to keep it. I have the option of returning it, but I don't want to lose a significant portion of the money I've invested in it due to shipping costs. As a result, I'm stuck with it. This isn't acceptable in any way.
When I bought these, I knew they were one pound, but I didn't realize how exhausting they would be to use. It's a good thing, too! I've already noticed a difference in my hand strength. Outstanding craftsmanship!.
Over a year ago, I bought them. I use them almost every day to relieve pain in my arthritis fingers, which are caused by a lot of typing. They're in great shape. They work better than the light ones because the weight helps to strengthen my fingers. wrists are much better.
It's a nice touch to include the carry pouch. br>br>If you have small hands, these may not be for you! br>br>I would have chosen 1 if I had a choice. 25" Even though I have large hands, I would prefer a set that is a little smaller.
