Questions & Answers
Look up "how to choose resistance on a computer" on the internet. If you are specific, you should receive a response. Alternatively, you can inquire at a Physical Therapy Department. They might be willing to let you experiment with various resistances. It is also dependent on your current level of strength. Because I knew I'd be getting stronger, I bought two different resistance bands: 3 pound and 5 pound. If you haven't yet been able to handle 3 lb, this is the next step. Simply use clay and a special putty. It's available for purchase at any gym that specializes in working out. There will be no children's items.
When you press down on your fingers, they don't lock. They go down one by one, but there is no locking on this device at any point.
I regret that I am unable to assist you. I wish I was aware of this.
This resistance could be a good place to start if you're new to resistance training. It provides me with the resistance I require without causing too many issues. You might want to consider getting a heavier one as your fingers get stronger.

I have a lot of different hand exercisers, but this one is unique. When used correctly, it actually works out each finger. I discovered that squeezing it with just my finger tips, as if I were playing a trumpet, rather than choking it up with my entire hand, is a much more effective exerciser. It will reveal how weak your pinky finger truly is. One disadvantage of this type of hand exerciser, or should I say finger exerciser, is that it is not adjustable. The resistance has been determined and is color-coded. The red one is able to withstand 3 pounds of force. The green one, which I obtained through a Lightning Round, has a resistance of 5 lbs and so on. As a result, as your strength improves, you'll need to purchase the color for the next higher level of restraint. Even though this could be costly, I would recommend it to anyone who is learning to play the guitar, particularly an acoustic, or who wants to improve their finger strength. Perhaps a brass instrument as well. Apart from my stereo and personal listening devices, I don't play any musical instruments, so this is just a musing. The concept, on the other hand, is solid. I recommend that you choose the right color for your needs and then progress to the next color as needed.
This is one of the three exercisers that came with the set I purchased. There are three different strengths in the set. The weights were 5 lbs, 3 lbs, and 5 lbs, respectively. I bought these for my son to help him strengthen his fingers so he could play the violin better. I already had a 9-pound model that was far too powerful for him. The 1. We don't need 5 pound or 3 pound. He can completely compress them with very little effort, so I'd recommend them if you're doing rehab or have very weak hand strength. My son is 11 years old, and the 5 pound model was the best place to start. In addition to the 9 lb I already had, I got the 5 lb and 7 lb. Obviously, this will vary from person to person, but I found the lower models to be far too simple to use. The product is of good quality, and it also includes an instruction sheet that explains how to use it in various ways depending on your goals.
However, this isn't something you'd find in a store. Why is there a two-star rating if the device works? br>br>After opening the bag in which the company had sealed the device that was contained within the Amazon package, I took the device in my hand and activated it. It was at that point that I discovered the palm grip was covered in some sort of glue that shouldn't have been there (and hadn't been on other models of the same device from the same company). br>br>After removing the palm grips from my hand (this shouldn't even be a sentence I should have to write. . Seriously, I had to pry it from my grip. There was no harm done. However, what the hell). It took several tries to get rid of whatever the mystery substance was, and there is still some residue on it now. br>br>The bottom line is that the device works. Cleaning isn't worth the hassle.
Several months ago, I broke my finger. Surgery was required, as well as physical therapy (which I am still undergoing). I've been able to obtain the majority of the devices that my therapist employs. This is one of the most useful gadgets she uses on me, so I purchased one for use at home. WOW! It's a slam dunk! My singer's name is Both strength and dexterity have improved dramatically. br>br>According to my therapist, it's particularly beneficial for musicians, particularly guitarists, who suffer from injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, and mild arthritis. None of the above apply to me, and I could have gotten by with therapeutic putty. Regardless, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It's well-built, and it arrived on time. My only regret is that I did not purchase a set, as my fingers have nearly outgrown this one. I'll soon require one with a higher PSI rating. For those with the above-mentioned finger problems, it's a smart investment.
It's well-made and performs admirably. I'm glad I purchased it so I could continue my therapy at home.
It's a shame it's not available in a set- It would be faster if you worked on both hands at the same time, or if you let someone else do it! (It's been a while since I've seen it since I gave it to him. ).
It's working perfectly. It has made her extremely happy.
Red (3. 5 lbs) and white (3. 5 lbs). After an accident in which three bones in my hand were fractured, I went to physical therapy to rehabilitate my hand. I decided to purchase some of the devices on Amazon so that I could continue my therapy at home. For a fraction of the cost of a therapy session, you can get this device from a therapist's office. While watching late-night television, I keep mine by my bedside and use it to exercise my hand.
