It doesn't need to be moved because it can be held in either hand. Because the goal is to work each finger separately, a solid rubber piece covering the individual finger keys would be counterproductive. I hope I didn't misunderstand what you were asking.

I began using these hand exercisers about three weeks ago in the hopes of alleviating pain in my wrist caused by tendinitis/pre-tendinitis. Carpal tunnel syndrome is a painful condition that affects the hands and wrists Every other day, I've been using this and other finger exercisers, and I've noticed a significant improvement. I no longer have constant aching in my wrist, which is fantastic because I've had this problem for over ten years! My only criticism of this product is that after less than a month of use, the shafts for the finger buttons start to become less smooth. If the pressure on the buttons is not completely straight down, it will appear to meet resistance as it enters, making it more difficult to push down, especially on the end buttons. I tried lubricating the shafts with powder graphite lubricant, and it appears to have solved the problem so far. Graphite lubricant: Graphite lubricant is a type of lubricant that is made up of graphit

This is one of the three exercisers that came with the set I purchased. There are three different strengths in the set. The weights were 5 lbs, 3 lbs, and 5 lbs, respectively. I bought these for my son to help him strengthen his fingers so he could play the violin better. I already had a 9-pound model that was far too powerful for him. The 1. We don't need 5 pound or 3 pound. He can completely compress them with very little effort, so I'd recommend them if you're doing rehab or have very weak hand strength. My son is 11 years old, and the 5 pound model was the best place to start. In addition to the 9 lb I already had, I got the 5 lb and 7 lb. Obviously, this will vary from person to person, but I found the lower models to be far too simple to use. The product is of good quality, and it also includes an instruction sheet that explains how to use it in various ways depending on your goals.
Flexibility (3 lbs. One of the items recommended by my physical therapist for my tendonitis exercise regimen is the 4kg) model. This, however, proved to be an excessive amount of resistance at first. It aggravated my tendons even more, despite the fact that I followed the instructions to the letter. The number one in yellow 5lb. The side with the black, rubberized grip is designed for wrapping the thumb around as it presses against the palm, but I can't imagine that version is that much better than this due to faulty performance issues and finger discomfort. In comparison to the opposite side, which has four individually springed units topped with hard plastic to wrap the fingers around, this side is much more comfortable. Although the top of the plastic has a slight texture, it isn't enough to keep the fingers from slipping. Each top would have been more concave to prevent awkward and uncomfortable finger sliding if each finger unit had been ergonomically designed. The units should have been topped with rubber for improved comfort and precision grip. Squeezing with light or heavy pressure has no effect because the four springed units rarely move in lockstep and often have a jolty feel as if they're stuck or need oiling. The squeezing pressure as well as the release action should be much more fluid. Before I can recommend this product to anyone, it needs to be improved.
I have to say that after using it for a while, it has been brilliant and strangely therapeutic; I had no idea it would become one of my fidget toys when I purchased it, but oh well. The only issue is that it feels a little cheap, which I can't really blame because it's plastic, and the springs don't always work as well as I'd like, but that's on me because I chose the lower tension option. Overall, it's a fantastic product that I'd recommend to anyone looking to improve their grip strength!.
I bought one to use at home after using one in physical therapy. My hands are numb and my fingers are badly damaged due to arthritis after a long stay in the hospital. This is what I do to keep them moving and relieve stiffness.
rusts. We live in a seaside town with a lot of salt in the air. The springs aren't stainless steel, unfortunately. It had become entangled. I needed it for my rehab, so I went out and bought a new one, which I will try to protect better. For those who do not live near the sea, this should not be a major concern.
This product is fantastic, and I am very happy with it. I borrowed one from my therapist's office and found it to be so useful that I had to buy one for myself!.
It is well-made. Simple to work with. I'm going to buy some more in different tensions. Physical therapy will benefit greatly from this supplement.
