Questions & Answers

How does this stack up against a total bar for rotator cuff exercises and arm and upper body toning?

I had never heard of Total Bar before receiving this inquiry. I had to do some research to find out what it was. It doesn't appear that TB was present when I received my Body Blade. With the exception of those that use two body blades, all of the exercises appear to be the same. The Body Blade Pro (5ft) is what I have. I'm currently using it for warm-up and will be repurposing it for Rotator Cuff rehab after having surgery on my left shoulder. I'm hoping for the same outcome as last time. TB appears to be a rip-off of BB, and it is significantly less expensive. In terms of construction, BB appears to be more substantial. In addition to my weight training, I've enjoyed the BB and have gotten some good workouts. The smaller BB is available at my gym, where I use it. Check out youtube videos; there are a lot more BB's there because they've been around for a while. The flat construction of BB keeps you in a fixed, adjustable position. I have no experience with tuberculosis and therefore cannot advise against it. The BB is something I enjoy and believe has helped me. In the beginning, my therapist assigned me exercises to complete. Best wishes to you.

Is there room for one more? Is it true that it works the CORE, particularly the lower abdomen? Thanks?

My back has been bothering me for a long time, L5 S1 issues included, as well as a foot drop. I've always been interested in fitness, and I continue to do so now. The body blade videos explain and show exactly how to use the blades, and YES, they work! I am a personal trainer and teach group exercise; the body blade videos explain and show exactly how to use the blades, and YES, they work! Try again if you don't understand or feel the move the first time. I no longer have weakness in my lower left abdomen or back, and my overall strength has increased. I'm a huge fan of getting up and moving around. Nothing works my core like the body blade. I swim, run, bike, do aerial work, trx, and simply play. I hope this has been of assistance. PS- It took me some time to build up my strength and comprehend the movements- patience is a virtue

Is there a program that you recommend? One of the top ten Once a day, watch a 30-minute DVD? I'm just afraid that once I get it, I'll be completely lost. ?

Some of the DVD's recommended programs appear to be a bit extreme. Working from the poster that comes with some shipments or can be found online, which shows thirty or forty different ways to use the body blade with a brief description, has been very successful for me. When I begin a workout program that includes the body blade, I examine the poster and choose a few exercises that I believe will complement the other aspects of my workout. I then go through the exercises in a series, doing each one for 20 seconds and resting for five to ten seconds in between. I'll increase the exercise time to 30 seconds once I'm comfortable with my starting level. When I'm satisfied with that, I'll either add more exercises or increase the number of sets. br>The beauty of the body blade is that it combines some of the benefits of hydraulic resistance, such as the ability to change the intensity of a workout simply by increasing the amount of energy you put into it, with the flexibility of free weights, allowing you to adapt exercises to target whatever area you want to target. br>I hope this information is useful.

Is there a separate DVD available for purchase?

I like to watch videos on YouTube. The best can be found under "bodyblade exercises," particularly those performed by the physical therapist who invented it.

Keep trying to learn the blade's rhythm
5/5

My body couldn't change at 66 years old, I thought. I've noticed significant improvements since starting to use the body blade. It's a piece of cake once you've got the rhythm down. The body blade has exceeded my expectations. The body blade pro is a new acquisition for me. br>My wife is now using it because she was so impressed by my results.

Small shoulder muscles and rehab are ideal for this product
5/5

Overall, I would highly recommend this product. However, if you're looking for something that will allow you to get a full-body workout, there are WAY better options that are significantly less expensive. Almost any set of exercise chords or bands will allow you to complete a greater number of exercises. This product is designed to target small shoulder and forearm stability muscles. Although the manufacturer of this tool would probably object to it being categorized in this way, it is what it is. This is a great option for your labrum and rotator cuff if you're a thrower who needs rehab, strengthening, or just some preventative maintenance. If you're trying to get in shape all over, please don't purchase it. In reality, the models they use in their photos are unlikely to be wearing a body blade.

Classic version of Bodyblade
5/5

I'm a physiotherapist in Ohio, and I first learned about the device at work. Because I had firsthand experience with the device's value, I decided to purchase a pair of bodyblade classic for home use. I use it on a regular basis and have noticed an improvement in the strength and stability of my shoulder joints, as well as the strength and stability of my legs. I could go on and on about how great the bodyblade is.

It was an incredible workout
5/5

I can't tell you how much I admire you. It's a ridiculously easy workout that accomplishes far more than you might expect. About a year ago, I tore up my shoulder. and-a- half ago. I've finally arrived at the point where I can begin my rehabilitation. This is a wonderful, gentle, but challenging workout. In the first two weeks, I noticed a difference. It takes approximately ten minutes to complete a workout. It doesn't take up a lot of room, doesn't take a long time, doesn't make any noise, and when you're finished, it takes up no space. After your first workout, you will be pleasantly surprised.

I enjoy the exercise but despise the plastic smell
3/5

Before purchasing my blade on Amazon, I tried out some of my friends' classic and pro blades. My friends' blades never stank or left a stench on my hands. I didn't notice it at first, but after a few days in my room, the blade began to emit a strong, unpleasant plastic odor. I've washed it with soap and water and aired it out, but it still stinks. I enjoy using the blade, and it appears to function in the same way that my friends' blades do. Unfortunately, it leaves a stench on my hands after use, and I have to scrub them to remove the odor. I went back and saw that only one other person had mentioned this, so I'm not sure why some blades smell while others don't. Is it possible that I received a clone? It's still a mystery to me. It's great for exercise, but why does mine smell so bad?.

So far, everything has gone swimmingly
5/5

I've only had it for a few days, but so far I'm really enjoying it! Learning how to use the bodyblade took a little getting used to. So far, it appears to be working quite well. When the body blade is used correctly, it not only quickly exhausts target muscle fibers, but it also appears to work supporting/core muscles.

It's beneficial for muscle relaxation and toning
5/5

My wife and I both enjoy using the BodyBlade: Since we got it, we've both used it almost every day. It can be used before or after more intense exercise, and the exercises are quick and easy to do, leaving you with a feeling of balanced energy rather than exhaustion. I noticed that a couple of other reviewers said that if they had to buy it again, they would get the larger version instead of the "Classic. " " That is something with which I would agree. The Classic, on the other hand, is ideal for my wife, and I can still make use of it, so we're both pleased with our purchase.

Worth it! This works wonders for shoulder stability
5/5

Following a shoulder dislocation, I used it in physical therapy. One of the most useful exercises was this one. I bought it to keep up with my at-home therapy. It is well worth the investment. An instructional video and poster are included with the body blade to show you everything it can do. I've noticed a noticeable increase in muscle tone as well as increased stability!.
