The scale I selected seemed to be the perfect size Based on what I read, the reviews sounded fantastic. It appears that the scale was not damaged during delivery and that it was in good It was in the user's manual that I found out how to set it up. One of the warnings I found in the manual disturbed me. You should not use this product with a pacemaker or other medical implants. As I have a pacemaker, this would have been of use to me before I made my purchase. There will be a return to this scale. I am extremely disappointed.

As part of an effort to replace the scale that broke earlier this week, I purchased this one. It seemed like a good idea to go with one that offered more options, and at the price, this was a no-brainer. From an aesthetic standpoint, the scale appears appealing outside the box. Please do not wear socks if you are going to get the additional measurements from the instructions. The device does not require any batteries but comes with two AAA batteries. Rather than having the battery compartment not clearly marked with a positive or negative sign, I added one outside the battery compartment. My wife will not have to guess where the batteries are located if she should need to replace them. It asks for the gender, date of birth, height, and goal weight of a user. It is a free app made by a Chinese company. When I stand on the scales, one of my toes sticks out about a foot. I'm a size 12 in the US. This is 5 inches tall. In order to ensure my weight measurements are accurate, please make sure the scale is placed on a hard, solid surface (tile, wood, laminate or concrete). The numbers will be off if that is not the case. *the floor is slippery when wet, so it is advised that your feet are both dry and clean before you use it. I rarely give five stars but this one is truly great. It is not the type of scale that calculates your weight three times and then shows the same result each time. As I tested my bodyweight first without my phone in my hand and then with my shirt in my hands, the scale was able to detect a difference each time. *I'll leave you to discuss the bioimpedence of all bodyfat scales.
