My obsession with self torture led me to purchase this scale. So I thought, "why wait to go to the doctor when you could just torture yourself now. " The scale doesn't seem to be at fault. I think the scale with the app does a great job illustrating the whole 'here is what you weigh' concept. In the beginning, I was not expecting much from the scale since it is so inexpensive. The thin box that became broken when Amazon dropped it off made me think that it was a piece of junk. This was neither one nor the other. You did a great job. The batteries were added, the app was downloaded, and I was ready for my humiliation in a matter of seconds. I'd like to point out that there are many products out there that have an app but most of them are crap and look like they were designed by a child. I like how easy it is to use and how much information it contains. 'Health' app that Apple provides allows the app to integrate seamlessly with the device's health tracker. My recommendation for this scale and app is to recommend it to anyone. It's not the scale's fault the results are what they are. This is an amazing value for the price.

You can perform precise body measurements with the new Bioelectric Impedance Analysis (BIA) due to its high sensitivity sensors and electrodes. It seems like everything in the app is based on weight and the BIA stuff doesn't really do anything as I've lost weight. So. . . if everything is based on weight, then I don't really understand what the BIA stuff is supposed to do. In fact, when I started this diet I lost 15 lbs in the first week I have a hard time believing it wasn't mostly water weight since I had frequent bathroom trips. The percentage of my body weight accounted for the increase in weight. The graphs continue to show an overall correlation with weight after almost six months.

The app is pretty poor and all the bells and whistles are rather unnecessary here, which is why I bought it in the first place. There is a problem with the app and it won't connect. The only thing this scale shows you is your weight, so you'd be better off buying a regular scale for half the price.
