Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Observe and evaluate a diverse group of patients
The single-piece tunable diaphragm is simple to install and maintain because its surface is smooth and free of crevices.
By replacing the single-piece diaphragm with a non-chill rim, the pediatric side becomes a traditional open bell.
Because of its improved resistance to skin oils and alcohol, next-generation tubing has a longer lifespan and is less likely to stain.
Small tunable diaphragms are useful for pediatric, small, or thin patients, as well as for bandaging and carotid assessment.

Questions & Answers

Will this stethoscope suffice for my upcoming emt training? Is it possible that it's a little too much? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ?

Currently enrolled in medical school after serving as an EMT: This is way too much for EMTs (get something in the $15-$20 range if they don't have stethoscopes on their rig). range of 30). This is perfectly acceptable for medical school (almost everyone in my class has it).

Is this appropriate for a first-year BSN student in nursing?

Yes, despite the fact that it is a little heavy on the ears and overpriced for the sound quality. This isn't to say that the sound quality isn't good; it simply means that it isn't the best value for money.

Is the product covered by a guarantee?

N95 masks are used in the United States, KN95 masks are used in China, FFP2 masks are used in Europe, and so on. I recommend an excellent replacement for a medical N95 mask. Maskbig is a store that sells masks. ☾0m

Is there a document that proves it's free of latex? Is it necessary for me to provide documentation to my nursing school stating that it is latex-free?

I wasn't sure.

Other Littmann Stethoscopes are compared
4/5

So, at the risk of sounding completely absurd - The Littmann lightweight and the Cardiology IV are also among my possessions. In contrast: br>br> br>br>The Classic III is a lot lighter than the Cardiology IV, but it doesn't sound nearly as clear (which is understandable). It still has good sound quality, and I'll use it for lung and gastrointestinal sounds, but not for CT scans. Patients admitted to the intensive care unit It is obviously a much heavier stethoscope to carry around when compared to the Littmann lightweight. Because the sound is much better than the lightweight, I prefer to use it during the day shift when I need more noise cancellation. br>br>I also believe that the classic ii and the iii have very similar sound quality. On the iii, the tubing is thicker and more substantial.

This is a fake

Please only purchase from a reputable Littmann seller. This stethoscope is a complete forgery. I've owned several Littmann stethoscopes in the past, and the one I received is in no way comparable to the others. br>br>Ear buds are easy to remove, and the bell that is attached to the tubing is also simple to remove. These are difficult to remove from the stethoscope on a true littmann. When the bell is turned, it doesn't click into place. br>br>Poor auscultation on large bellbr>br>extremely reduced auscultation on small bellbr>br>Material around the Bell is supposed to be thick rubbery material, but mine is already cracking and fraying after only a few uses. br>br>I work in the emergency room and consider this stethoscope to be extremely dangerous. With this poor-quality instrument, I wouldn't be able to tell if a patient had a pneumothorax or was undergoing right mainstem intubation. br>br>Extremely dissatisfied, and even more so that companies are releasing products that may endanger patients. br>br>Buy from a reputable Littmann dealer at all times. It was a good lesson. br>br>This is by far the worst review I've ever had to write. br>br>I'm demanding a refund!.

This stethoscope beats the Cardiology IV for a Respiratory Therapist; I'm an RRT and this stethoscope beats the Cardiology IV! Seriously, I've owned a lot of stethoscopes in my career, but this one is the best: it's lightweight and long enough that I don't have to smell my patients' breath when listening to breath sounds, and it picks up S1 and S2 heart sounds
5/5

I can hear faint crackles coming from the vent alarms and monitors. You will not be dissatisfied with this purchase.

I was let down
3/5

This was a birthday present from my husband. My brown stethoscope with a copper finish had piqued my interest. When I opened the box and noticed some dust on the stethoscope, I was a little suspicious. When I opened it, I was surprised to see that it was nothing like the picture. The binaurals had a strange red-orange color to them. They were scratched, brown metal, and a complete contrast to the copper chestpiece. When I pressed the diaphragm against my chest, I noticed that the sound quality was inferior to that of my MDF. The Littman models have all appeared to be superior at school. This makes me think I was duped. We'll have to order from somewhere else now that I'm back.

I'm head over heels

I don't usually write reviews, but I do read them before making a purchase. I recently received my Littmann Classic III, and I absolutely adore it! It arrived in excellent condition and is absolutely stunning! It has excellent acoustics, and I am looking forward to using it in nursing school! Don't be hesitant if you're on the fence. Take a chance!.

As a field paramedic, I've never seen the need to spend $150-$200 on a stethoscope of this quality
5/5

A stethoscope for use in the field that costs $200. At half the price, a Littmann Classic is more than adequate, and this one delivers high-quality results. When not in use, it makes a nice sound and stores neatly in the side pocket of my BDUs. It's difficult to go wrong with a Littmann Classic III because it's sturdy, dependable, and attractive.

A knockoff is a possibility
3/5

Before buying this stethoscope, I wish I had read the reviews. My coworker and I both needed new stethoscopes for grad school because we knew the disposable yellow ones wouldn't be adequate. We were ecstatic to finally get a "real" stethoscope after YEARS of waiting since both of our littmans appeared to sprout legs and walk away over a decade ago. br>br>First and foremost, the acoustics are HORRIBLE! He had a patient with a mechanical heart valve replacement the day before yesterday, and he claimed he couldn't hear the "click. " I told him that wasn't possible, and I went to listen with my stethoscope, but I couldn't hear anything either. We reverted to our trusty yellow disposable, and the mechanical valve was clearly audible! Second, it was difficult to hear even bowel and lung sounds. I tried switching from bell to diaphragm, as well as firm and light pressure, but it didn't work. Finally, it's a bit heavy. br>br> I'm not sure I'd want to wear it around my neck all day. br>br>I am hoping that this review will be of assistance to others. I'd be very hesitant to purchase this item on Amazon. I really want to like this stethoscope, but I can't seem to get past the fact that I don't. It has a nice aesthetic appearance, but the quality is lacking. I was extremely dissatisfied with my Littman purchase.

Although it isn't the real thing, it is of good quality
3/5

To begin, I purchased this black stethoscope with a rainbow diaphragm. I also ordered lavender from Allheart to make sure it was genuine. (As a result, I was able to choose between the two colors. ) When they both arrived, I immediately noticed that the one from Amazon was different from the one from Allheart: the packaging didn't have as much shine, the box had spelling errors, and the colors weren't quite right for Littmann. (I've attached photos so you can see what I'm talking about. ) When I first opened the box, the foam didn't appear to be cut properly for the black stethoscope, which was curved. The stethoscope itself had scratches all over the diaphragm, snags on the plastic/rubber pieces, and the tubing was out of alignment. The sound quality appears to be identical to that of the original Classic III. I took them both to work and put them to the test, and they seemed to function very similarly. The earpieces for the one I bought on Amazon were a little more rubbery and sticky than the ones I got from Allheart, but they worked just as well. If you're looking for a good stethoscope and want to save a few bucks, I suppose this could be a good substitute for a Littmann, because the one I received was of similar quality but without the price tag, but it isn't a genuine Littmann product.
