There is no downtime because you can use the scale while it charges. br>br>The app that comes with the scale is simple to use and navigate, and it has been extremely helpful in helping me manage my weight. I enjoy being able to keep track of my progress and view all of the statistics. There is no need to log out if you want to track the results for multiple members of your household (or, in my case, for the competition). br>br>In terms of accuracy, the scale appears to be identical to my old one, with no variation as I get on and off.

Before I go into my reasons, keep in mind that a portable scale will not be as medically accurate as a lab scale, but it will give you a good idea of the overall trend. They're fantastic and work well with your sport watch as a tracker. Benefits: br>br>
- Size: This thing is small enough to fit in a gym bag, and unlike using a potentially calibrated scale at the gym, it will give you a rough estimate of progress. It eliminates the need for you to keep track of your own records and saves them on your phone.
- Metrics: This device assesses a variety of factors, including body weight. If you're trying to lose weight, this device can provide you with feedback on your progress. It's not as accurate as an expensive pod test, but it'll keep you on track.
- Cloud: The app keeps track of your fitness progress and data, which is very useful if you go to the gym on a different device, as I do occasionally. For instance, I have a separate phone that I use for music, so I don't have to bring both devices to the gym. br>Battery: br> This scale has only been charged once, a few weeks ago, and the battery is excellent. br>Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology that allows two devices to communicate with each other. My Samsung Galaxy synced without a hitch, but my other phone kept going to sleep. If your phone has an automatic eco mode, it's a good idea to turn it on. Depending on how accessible the smart phone app is and how well it integrates with Android's talkback feature, this type of decision is frequently a gamble. Fortunately, this scale and the app that goes with it are both functional. It is approximately 85% usable, in my opinion. I come across "un-" on occasion when dragging my finger across the app. "button with a label" This scale, however, is less expensive than most talking scales, has more features, and includes an app that allows me to track my progress. This is a fantastic product that could be even better with a few minor app improvements. This purchase has exceeded my expectations.

About a year ago, I bought an older version of Renpho's bluetooth scale. This review will primarily compare and contrast that scale with this scale, which was created 5 years ago. The following aspects of the newer scale have improved: 2) internal rechargeable battery on this new scale compared to 3xAAA batteries, the old scale would run for about 6 months or so on a new set of batteries, I haven't had this new scale long enough to know how long a single charge lasts. The battery compartment in the old scale would leak moisture from the bathroom causing water to collect inside, which was not good for the b. 3) The Renpho iOS app is unchanged; it was simple to add this new scale to the app's list of devices, so well done Renpho. The only drawback is that this new scale appears to take a little longer to lock in my weight; it takes about 10 seconds from the time I step on to the time it starts transmitting to my phone, whereas I recall the old scale taking a little less time. Overall, I am satisfied with this new scale and would recommend it to others.

This scale aids in the tracking of my fitness progress. I'm a regular cyclist who puts in 10 hours per week of training. The only device you'll need to keep track of your progress is this one. 10/10 I would strongly recommend this scale to anyone who wants to dig deeper into their body weight goals and overall accomplishments.
