When I started my diet (250 lbs on Jan. 1, i plugged in my weight. You can choose to get weighed once a week until January 1, 2021, or you can plug in my goal weight of 199 pounds, then I get weighed weekly (but most likely weekly). The data must be displayed on your screen once Bluetooth is enabled and you are STAYING on the scale. the Bluetooth feature is turned off, the scale behaves just like any other.

Weight-wise, I found that I was plateauing but, after watching the body information, I could see how the ratio between my fat and muscle was still fluctuating. I am kept from getting discouraged by it. It was easy to recharge the model, but the recharging is not a good feature. Because the charging cord does not reach the plug in, will I need to set it on something to make it reach, or will I need to find another outlet and forgot to bring it back (where I weigh), so I jumped on my old scale since it was still there and before I knew it I was back in the old house. I would prefer if I could just pop in new batteries instead of replacing the old ones. You won't be bothered by that feature so for you, it is still a good product.

During this time, it has tracked my weight loss daily. Over the past four months, I've lost 21 pounds and I've seen my body fat and BMI return to normal. There was probably only about 10 pounds of excess weight on me, but I'm still losing weight. There is no error or jerk in the scale. The weight of the mattress remains the same even when I step on and off. It lasts quite a long time on its rechargeable battery. I used it daily for four months and recharged it afterwards. When I weigh in, I can connect the scale instantly with the app. I like that. Sync is instant once you have the app on your phone and it is within bluetooth range. In addition, it will sync to the FitBit app, but it appears to lag behind by one day. It could be an attempt on FitBit's part to force you to buy their overpriced scale. The FitBit scale is a waste of money, get one of these, and it will serve you well. I'm not sure how accurate all of the different measurements and/or results that it records are. The scale makes these measurements or calculations in a way I wish I had a better understanding of. Although I take these results with a grain of salt, I can say for myself that I have witnessed fat loss and this even though there is error in these absolute measurements shows me where I should be heading. How it calculates my metabolic rate is what I would most like to know. It is, in general, a recommendation. I have been able to stay focused on my fitness with it.

Just arrived is the scale. At least a dozen times I've put it on and taken it off, and it always reads the same weight. No other scale reads the same weight for me before. Though it's a little small, my big old feet fit on it just fine. I have not encountered any problems with Bluetooth so far as well. So far, the only issue I have found with the scale is that the USB charge connector is not centered in the hole. After struggling for a while, I was able to get the plug working, and it's now charging. The USB plug is not a point of complaint for now, unless it becomes a serious complaint later on.

It is the first smart scale we have ever used. It provides accurate readings every time. Honestly, I haven't a clue whether the fancy measurements (BMI, BMR, Bone mass, %Fat, etc) are accurate or even real. However, I use it, and it gives accurate results every time. They are there to motivate us, and to engage us in a friendly competition. Until recently, I never cared much about exercising and losing weight, but now that I do, a smart scale is a great asset. Despite its simplicity, the app is informative and easy to use. I especially like how the numbers are color coded. This psychological trick is quite effective.

Although I do use some of the features, I do not use them all. It was really only to track my weight that I purchased the scale. My favorite features are how easy it is to use, how affordable it is, and that it is rechargeable. With the app, I am able to keep track of all my previous weights and measurements, including my BMI. My ability to attest to the accuracy of other measurements is limited, but I can say that I calibrated the scale using 10 lb weights and the reading was exactly right. Additionally, I had a good experience with Customer Service. I called them for assistance when I first received the scale to get it started. In addition to providing helpful advice over the phone, they also sent me follow up emails with information on how to recharge the scale when required. It has been about a month since I've used the scale and it hasn't needed to be recharged. My overall experience with this purchase has been very positive.
