Thank you for a great product, it looks just like the picture on the website. The cuff fits great, can be adjusted to fit a smaller to a larger adult arm. I was concerned about one of the comments in the reviews on this site (Amazon) stating it felt scratchy on the arm, but mine is just fine. This cuff comes fully assembled so there is nothing you need to do after you receive it. It has a spot for you to write your name on the label. There is plenty of room in the carry case for you to fit the cuff inside or zip it up without struggling. It is made of the same material as the cuff. In the pocket outside the pouch, there's a slit that velcros shut. It's fairly small, so I don't know what you would put in it, but it's there if necessary. It is definitely something I would recommend to others. The graphics are super cute, I adore them! This is a follow-up to my original review I am writing this on May 17, 2013 As a result of changing the pressure button to release it, the gauge on this blood pressure cuff has stuck at 160 even when the gauge is turned up to 150. It will be exchanged for the very same cuff. I will update my review once I have tried out the new one. This item will be returned to you if it fails to function properly. I have posted an update of my earlier update of 07/04/2013. A month and a half after I received a replacement, my old item is still working This item adheres no longer at 160 degrees, and I do not have any complaints about it. I recommend it!.
The product I bought was expected to last for a long time, but so far I have had some problems. Is it possible to use something after one year of constant use? I can't even make out that the velcro is trying to stick. This seems to be the result of buffing out the soft side while the rough side doesn't intend I had to pull it completely out and fix it after it curled up into itself and I tried multiple blood pressures with no success before finally having to pull it out. It was a faulty valve. It went haywire one day. It didn't come with a tool to help fix this and the piles of pages I received didn't specify how to resolve it. It took me a little while to google how to center it again after I had to Google some back roads BS. There is nothing bad I can say about this item, except that it has a cute print and I get compliments when I wear My matching scissors are with me as well. Besides that it can't even cut through standard bandage wraps if they are not too thick. The pain in my hands and arthritis in my fingers leads me to give up before I've reached the halfway point. It never occurred to me that you would make them to last so soon, since you want repeat customers. But I haven't thought it would be so soon on things that I had.
In this case, the Sphygmomanometer is brand new in box, but uncalibrated. It seems rather absurd to me that I have to pay to send it back and forth four times to be calibrated if I bought it brand new. In order to provide customers with a calibrated product, Prestige must make sure it is calibrated at its facility.
My mother bought these as a gift - Several family members have survived breast cancer, including my mother-in-law and grandmother. This is the kind of product I enjoy giving to people because I am easily identifiable when I give it to someone else!.
As I explained in my previous mail, I just received this kit. I really wanted it to practice for a nursing check-off exam, but unfortunately it wasn't There was about a one to two point difference. A portion of the inside of the carrying case was also starting to come apart. While I was disappointed, the cuff was made of high quality material for an acceptable price. I just ordered the exact item again and will return my defective item. My first order was just bad luck, so hopefully I'll be back with a report that it's working just fine now.
I have had this for at least a year now, and I use it every day! However, I wish the cuff itself was a bit longer (I work with older adults). So far, I've only had one issue with the machine (the needle came loose), but it was easy to fix. The product I received at work is of good quality.
