During my workday, I bought this item for myself. It is necessary to read a lot of serial numbers, and some are scratched to the point where I can barely read them, or they are too small for me to distinguish them. I use this magnifying glass to read serial numbers, so it is a handy tool for me. That it has three settings makes it a very user-friendly light to have and its brightness is definitely bright enough to help me see clearly. There are only two light settings that are necessary Bright and Warm. In my opinion, it is a waste of space to have a third setting, which combines those two settings. There is one thing that I do not like about the device, and that is the springs that hold the batteries. My battery keeps ejecting every time I put it in because of one of its springs. By the way, the magnification is so good that you can use it with or without the lights, which are a great feature. There will be a new pair of magnifying glasses for my home soon. This brand has been recalled. They promised a free magnifying glass if you left a review. I will not be replacing my old magnifying glasses at home with this brand. The company refused to send the magnifying glass they promised me because they stated they will only give you (5) stars if you give them a positive review.
