Questions & Answers
A magnification of 1 means that there is no distortion. It has a focal length of 75x and a diopter of 3. 2 if the message says so. There are 5 diopters in the lens that gives a 25x magnification. An increasing diopter will result in a stronger magnification. To bring an object into focus, your magnifying lens will need to be at least seven to nine inches from the object you are working on if you use, for example, a five-diopter lens. To bring an object into focus at a distance of 13 inches with a 3 diopter lens, you would be about 13 inches from the object.
I don't really understand what your application is all about. At this moment, I am not at home (where my lamp is). I wonder if the lamp head would rotate 360 degrees for inverted lighting use, although the lamp base appears to be designed for vertical clipping. The lamp is still held in place with gravity no matter what base you use since I bought another clamp that attaches via screws rather than clamps. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps.
I just wanted to say hi and to let you know that the lens is approx. The width of the rectangle is 4 3/4 inches. The lens is of very good quality, and I don't see any aberrations. My favorite part of this light is the color.
Hey, *br>This really depends on what you are trying to accomplish. People using the different lighting settings for different activities are delighted with the various levels of light, such as choosing warmer white for reading, cooler lights for crafting, and soft whites The combination of this with adjustable brightness allows you to fit the color and brightness to the task at hand.

Although it is absolutely wonderful in every aspect as far as it's operation goes, there is a plastic ring that holds the glass in place that must be locked in order to prevent it from falling out. I wasn't able to lock it in place when I started taking the thing out of the box, so the glass fell on the floor and broke. As far as I can tell, there is no way to contact the manufacturer to request the replacement glass, and I believe they should ensure that the glass is firmly installed before shipping. It is hoped that this review will be seen by the company and that they will take action. In such a case, my review will be changed to 5 stars. EDIT OR REPLACE So I wouldn't give this company a negative star because I have yet to hear back from this company. I am grateful for the excellent customer service you provided.
The pros are You can move the lamp around and it stays put there. It is solid to be in the light. The mechanism is very smooth and easy to use. It's bright and I like the ability to control color temperature, but it's clunky to do that. This lens has a focal length of five inches. 4 inches is the diameter that can be seen. The width of the frame is 75 inches. They list 3 for some reason I don't understand. This is five. The cons are The number is not very high. You turn the light on and off with a rocker switch. Light remains the same light color no matter what the brightness and temperature settings are. To change brightness you will need to adjust both the warm and cool LEDs to maintain the same light color. It is possible to change the brightness in both ways in five steps. It is common for most of us to leave lights as they are and rarely move them around. It would have been nice to have one color control and another brightness control. There is a slight strong, but it is also limited via its physical properties. Between 4 and 6 inches below the lens, your object will be in focus. Therefore, you do not have much room to add any additional tool over and above what you are If you view something off axis, it tends to distort quickly. When you intend to look at an area bigger than 2" by 2", a lower power lens might be a better option. There is a smaller magnification with a 3 diopter lens 75 times) and increased distance between working areas. Although it is a good lamp, the other had less eye strain. I had a 3 diopter cheap lamp and I like it as well.
This is a brilliant idea. On the box, it said everything. For the past two years, I spent hours painting and I am still amazed how I managed before using Having said that, the mouse looks very nice, does not take up much space on my desk, is easy to use, and is quite Moreover, the dimmable light is the feature I value most. There are a lot of choices from ultra-luxurious to super-expensive It can range from very cool to hot. Having a light that's matched to my gaming area makes a big difference to me when I paint miniatures for tabletop gaming. Despite being crystal clear and really easy to clean, the lens is really easy to maintain. In some reviews, I saw that you keep banging your brushes against the light because it is so large. In the beginning, that was true. Furthermore, since the lens is so large, you can place it anywhere you like. There is no doubt in my mind that it's worth the investment.
Despite my weak eyesight, I am embarking on a project to build Renaissance and Baroque lutes, and need something to assist me with carving the roses in the belly of the lute, a painful task requiring a steady hand and little margin It was a concern to me that the magnification would be inadequate, but that hasn't been a problem. Everything is as clear as day to me. When it was delivered, my wife asked if it had an Ottlite control system, which lets you adjust the amount of red and white light that is emitted by the LEDs. This gives you a lot of control over the lamp's appearance. As a matter of fact, I prefer that to the Ottlite system, which is supposed to be similar to "natural light," but you only get the following It was a perfect setting for them. Considering the pros and cons, I would prefer this system. I highly recommend it.
It is a solid light! The unit is constructed and designed to be easy to use as well as durable. Since I have been using it for a few weeks now, I see great results. One of the features I liked most was the ability to place the lamp at just the right height and position it so that it stays in the precise spot where A constant tightening or adjusting of the arm and pivot points is not necessary. A feature allowing the user to adjust the light output both in terms of color and brightness with a finger tap as light as a smart phone is an extremely useful feature to adjust the magnified object to fit In addition to adding a light source over my workbench, the flip-down dust cover also adds another source of light. The bench worker who takes their work seriously needs this projector!.
The lens is neither protected nor In the first place, beware of the There is no way to secure or wrap the lens. The lamp is just sitting inside of an extra bag that covers the rest of the lamp, and it will break when it falls out. A chipped piece of mine fell out. What a stupid thing to do. There is a collar that holds it in the lamp and it would not take up any additional space if it were secured in there. In addition, I had dropped it so I was unable to * That being said, the light is bright and has several brightness settings. As of now, the arm looks like it will stay There is only a small area that you can concentrate on when using the magnifying glass. It is not possible to focus on the rest of the field. The scroll saw isn't very useful for working with it. If it works for needle work, it should be fine.
It feels solid. There is a lot more weight and size to this than I anticipated. Despite its small size, it clamped firmly onto my workbench. I was able to move my arm into position with no problem. This is a good optical device. The only complaint I have is that the light does not remember brightness or color settings if you make changes. Having to set the right color temperature every time I use the device is frustrating. This would not have been an issue if they had used mechanical switches or knobs. In addition, it would have been nice if the lamp was able to go a My lightbulbs are typically set at 2700K, since that's the color temperature that most of my light bulbs are. It would have been nice if this lamp were perfect, but it is not.
