Yes, this phone can be mounted on the wall. There's also a small piece hook to keep the handset attached to the phone base when it's mounted on the wall.
China, most likely.
My phone was defective, so I returned it and never used it again.
The receiver's volume control is located on the device. On the right side of the phone base is the speakerphone volume button, and on the left side of the phone base is the ringer volume button. The phone is well-made. It's a hit with my father.

Don't hold your breath for anything more! Works. Don't expect much from this phone because it is very basic. However, for the money, it accomplishes your objectives. Large buttons and a reasonably loud handset (not deafening, but better than a typical cell phone) make this ideal for someone who is deaf, has trouble with new devices, or is simply confused about the new vs. old. it's an old thing My mother says: Law is 89, and getting the phone in the right place over her ear, as with my own mother, proved a bit too much (and forced us to speak louder and louder, to no avail). This phone reminded her of something she knew well. There's a landline connection, a cradle handset, and that's about it. There is no speed dial, memory, or last call directory (it does have these features, but they are difficult to set up and even more difficult for her to use). It was as simple as plugging it in, connecting the line, and that was the end of it. The cord length is just right (no risk of tripping over a long line), and the buttons are simple to operate. Because it's made of cheap plastic, I'm not sure how long it'll last, but hey, the price reflects that, so who cares? it works. Stop struggling or yelling into the phones of your loved ones. Simply purchase this for a low cost.
This phone was the perfect solution for my mother, who suffers from poor vision. She has access to all of the phone numbers and can use the auto dialer. The phone has excellent clarity.
the product was exactly as described For the elderly, especially those who are deaf, this is a very simple phone. br>The buttons are absurdly large!.
This was purchased for my Aunt, who is 101 years old! She is a resident of a nursing home. On a wireless phone, I struggled with the smaller buttons. This is perfectbr>I wish there was an extension for it.
I like the phone, but it loses the saved phone numbers when it is unplugged from the power source. When I handed the phone over to my mother, I had to reprogramme all of the numbers.
I thought this phone would be good for regular conference calls because it was advertised as being effective for the hard of hearing. Despite switching the switch from low to high, the volume over the speaker remained extremely low. When I was on speaker mode, the person on the other end of the line couldn't hear me at all. br>A very disappointing product. br>The good news is that the company was quick to offer a replacement or refund, and did not require me to return the phone (which I will be throwing away). In a timely manner, a refund was issued.
This phone was purchased for my mother, who is a senior citizen. It was supposed to be hung on the wall. As you can see, the bottom of the phone is flat except for the two hanging slots, so there is no way to connect the phone jack to the outlet that would be behind/under the phone. It is not possible to mount this phone on the wall. We are extremely dissatisfied with the service and will be returning the phone.
My elderly parents found it to be very simple.
