Questions & Answers

My grandparents are interested in purchasing this phone, so when I program it with all their phone numbers, will the numbers still be on it after shipping it to them?

That is not at all true. It is hard to change the numbers in the phone once they are programmed. In the same way, I took care of my mother as well.

Are you able to use it as a speaker phone?

By plugging in computer speakers, you can use it as a speaker phone.

Do you have a speaker phone and jack for audio output?

A PROGRAM key that was initially set stopped working after a short while. I would not recommend it.

When it comes to the picture/button, what is its size?

Photo size is about what you would see on your driver's license.

This hearing aid is great for those with impaired hearing and vision
4/5

My mother received this as a gift- Alzheimer's disease in a relative. Since she could not use a cell phone, she gave up using it It is helpful to be familiar with one another. a few concerns with it, but it isn't because it's not a great product. The volume can be quite loud, both on the ringer & on the speakerphone A mobile phone. A flashing light is also present. Because it does not have an answering machine, it is easier to use. Neither caller ID nor extension numbers are provided. only flaw in the design, in my opinion, is that the ringer can be turned off completely by clicking the toggle on top of the phone. There should be a way to get to that place more difficult. The woman who raises me - There's no real reason to turn it off, just for the sake of having it. The flashing continues, however, even when the ringer is turned You can easily program speed dials by entering the number and company name Labels for buttons can be large enough to be read from a distance. Neither pictures nor videos were used. The design we chose for our 89-year-old mother was the best one we could find - Legal system.

This is STATISTIC! This is not a good recommendation! Buying this for my mom who is in the midst of Alzheimer's was a good idea
3/5

It took some time to print, cut, and adhere labels for each direct dial button, to program each button, and to test Although the direct dial function does work, it is such a Because of the static, I was hardly able to hear, which was most obvious when we used the direct dial buttons. An elderly person like my mom might not be able to hear in such a static-filled environment. My phone worked perfectly with another land line phone using two different wires on two different phone jacks in my home, so I am sure that it is the phone itself that is defective. spent a lot of time today trying to fix this defective phone. It's back to square one. My recommendation is not to do that.

This amplifier boosts the incoming signal (good), but adds background noise (not good) and motor boating
3/5

I purchased this particular model to replace an older Clarity phone (whose handset jack was no longer kept in sync on the handset) that was used by my 95-year-old mother. A neighbor I've known for many years. Although this newer Clarity unit worked similarly to its older brother, its amplifier was not isolated from the incoming line, which resulted in an amplified signal (which is good), amplified line noise (which is not good), and a motorboating tick. Click to play A ticking sound at 60 Hz (NOT good, and such a sound is caused by the power supply amp doing its job. Clarity was contacted, they explained that I set up the unit on three different phone lines at two different locations at the same time, and in each instance, it displayed the same As a result, Clarity replaced the unit - they did a great job! Despite my pleas for Clarity to check whether the same problems would arise on any replacement units, Clarity failed to do so, and now I have two defective units. The Future Call device is similar to what I bought The time is two o'clock Prices for Clarity are about a third of those of the Clarity model. It is effective and works without a hitch. An elderly individual who is 95 or older suddenly turns ill In the situation where an old person with hearing aids detects background line noise and ticking (motorboating) on the phone line, you know the product is defective.

The phone is pretty good, but the sounds could be louder
4/5

The phone was ordered as a replacement for a FutureCall FC-700 The unit that we were using was model 1507 (which didn't work with StraightTalk Wireless Home Phone. I was able to use the Clarity P300 immediately and with no problems. It is to be expected from a division of Plantronics (I did not realize that Clarity was owned by Plantronics when I Additionally, there are a number of plusses Please note It is nineteen and one-half -Select the photos you want to use for speed dialing (whether or not you take the time to set them up)- The collection is large and high-quality Visually impaired people can still use this phone with ease due to its large number buttons (not as large as the FutureCall)*BR- * Volume boost can be adjusted with a slider (many amplified phones have a high/low setting) - This is a white case There's a problem for visually impaired people using black phones, which seem to be the prevailing style - The device has a loud ringer as well as a flashing LED
Minuses Please note LED display is not available for identifying the caller when incoming calls are received and for verifying the number being called on outgoing calls. It is difficult for someone with low vision to use the controls at the bottom of the phone. There is a potential need for a louder boost (18db amplification is adequate but not quite boosts voice signals by 40db)* The only drawback is that the speakerphone is not available

Bottom line, a good phone for an older There are many people with hearing impairments and vision limitations who may be attracted to this phone because of the reasonable compromise of the top panel elements and over sized can be a great memory aid for individuals with memory problems, however, their small size makes them difficult to identify for those with visual impairments. Rather than using small letters for labeling, we used bold initials which work better for seniors with vision impairments.

Those buzzing days are over
5/5

I once had a model of this phone that wet out and got the buzzing and cracking bug many reviewers have complained about. In truth, it was not Mom who was bothered as much as anyone who was calling her crazy was. There are many challenges associated with making this category of phone work as its, "end user" is most likely to be older, fickle, and very particular about don't want any obstacles in the way of what they want, and they won't use anything that is too complicated. This journey likely has already been travelled before, so you are already familiar with it. In addition to expenses, there are other factors to consider. She had been using an old phone and I upgraded it to a better phone but her old phone was too complicated for her and I had to return it. As a result of reading reviews, I decided to give this one a shot, despite the fact that it's made by the same company as the Buzzer. The big numbers, simple speed dial set up, and minimal features makes this dialer a good choice. A buzzing noise has been removed. It's been a while since we dealt with this. It is a happy day for mom and for the callers. It's a good day for me.

There will be no more yelling into the phone so that Mom can hear me
5/5

My mother is hard of hearing and 84 years old. This is what I bought for her in the hopes that if I turned it up the loudest, she would be able to converse. I liked how easy it was to use. There will no longer be screaming into the phone and making people think I am My only memory is of plugging it in and setting it up. Even when there were setup steps, they were so easy that I forgot about them. The price was well worth it. My first one took a couple of years to wear out and I had to buy a replacement. But I bought the same brand as the original (this might be the replacement) and it lasted a little longer than I had thought.
