The information I should have known about last year would have been invaluable. Foot or leg loops are made of stiff metal nylon. Since the shipping company has to squeeze it shut, you have to pull it open to see the inside. It is held by the nylon loop and is the handle you use. The picture shows how this is done. In the picture, down at the bottom, there is a stiff loop that is a little bigger. The leg raiser is extremely well made and normally I feel pain to lift my leg, but after I used it to lift each leg, I felt absolutely no pain at all. This is a book that I recommend everyone read. My legs were too heavy to lift with nothing to grab onto to hold on to so I was tired of wearing long socks or long pants. The leg lifter will be greatly loved and appreciated by all.

The use of this might be beneficial to women, but I cannot see it being of much benefit to men.
