1.) The handle on the ultra is ergonomic A) The ultra has webbed like plastic under the armpits, which appears more flexible than the regular, but I don't really know since I haven't That's all I know, as those are the two things I know.
They were heavy for me at 170 pounds, and I had to lift my foot off the ground. I used them for almost a You cannot bear all your weight on the webbed underarm pieces, but they do have an easy feel to You don't have a lot of strain on your wrists and hands, but the grips are nice.
There have been a number of responses stating you need special tools to disassemble them and that disassembling them is very difficult. I assume that you are trying to pack them in as small a package as possible for travel. With no tools and in less than a minute, you can separate the rubber into three parts. There will be 28 pieces total, the longest of which will be in the middle (white). The length of the article is 5".

Tempted to put them back in the bag, I put them back in the Crutches look like they are used for walking. As with crutches, you adjust them as needed. I'm so happy now, 24 hours after I wrote the letter. My personal experience with these crutches is that they are more stable and comfortable than The pain in my armpits isn't bothering me, and I have no problem getting up and going. The mobilegs also served as a cane when I used the iwalk in conjunction with them. Although I only need them for 4 weeks, it's worth the $150 to know I won't be caught by surprise. Trying them out could make you feel more at ease.
Crutches such as these are a bit different from what you're used to. It's not easy to adapt to them at first. The crutches will be needed for 6 to 10 weeks and I think $150 isn't too bad for that amount of time. Initially, the shock absorbers and rocking / twisting webbed underarm rests are a little odd, but after one day of use, they are an improvement over the standard crutches that only issue I have is that the left crutch makes a lot of noise. I think it is something in the spring section. I gave them 3 stars for this reason. I can probably fix that problem with a little padding or something, but the webbing rubs against my side and causes a rash. As a result of the shock absorber, it is difficult to carry something while walking in one hand if not impossible. It could even be a cell phone if it's small enough. The issues I am experiencing result from that, which I do not feel is needed. Although it's better than you would normally use crutches, the design is not the most optimal.
The handles are very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised to find that most customers felt the same way after being on traditional crutches for some time. I have experienced more discomfort than bruising on my hands as a result of using them. a medium-sized female, 5' 6", 120 lbs, with good upper body strength. Their wide foot is a bit different from traditional crutches, so I could use them on a snowy parking lot last night. The Mobilegs and traditional crutches provide me with alternate support. The traditional crutches (with pads on the armpits and hands) assist me a lot at night (the traditional crutches can be easier to use at night as well as making it to the bathroom a bit quieter) and I use the Mobilegs when I am outside.
The two toes on the bottom of my foot were recently crushed. A crutch was placed in front of me. Several days later, they became so painful I could hardly wear them further without feeling like my shoulders were going to rip out of their The feeling of being trapped and alone was overwhelming! As my doctor recommended ergonomic crutches to me, I got a note. The options I found on Amazon looked promising, so I made the decision to give them a shot. The best thing I have ever done! I struggled for a while to get used to them, but now I can move around like never before. My arms can squeeze the crutches as I move if I need to, because the caps on them are unique. The crutches are easier on my hands because I had to get accustomed to the grips, but my hands are still tired. I have about 1 of them as well. I am not leaning on the armpits, so I have 5" under my armpits. It's such a pleasure to use these crutches! They are noisy, which is the only reason I'm giving them four stars instead of five. My crutches seem to be lacking a smooth bottom. I'm not sure if this is because of the handle or the way the bottom pads are attached. It is easy to hear me coming down the hallway, but I assure you that they will hear me. Though I don't regret it, it's not my first choice. This is a product I would buy again without a second thought, and I am genuinely impressed with the improvement in Under my health insurance policy, I can get reimbursed for the medical equipment cost with a doctor's note. I'm not sure whether or not that would work for you. It is worth the money to buy these. 3 They are the best!.
I opted to get an insurance-funded walker for my use at home. It's a bummer not to be able to walk. The crutches were an absolute joy to use and I think I was less frustrated with using which crutch on which arm because I only used these when I left the house and I live in a one story apartment so my walker saved the day at home. In fact, I never had sore arm pits, I never had tired hands, and I was only able to feel a bit of movement by the plastic knob as the leg turned. However, that did not affect me in any way. When I was hobbling about, I did have to be especially careful not to become lazy in placing the base so that it wouldn't catch on the floor. However, I couldn't imagine using another crutch during that time.
I have used regular crutches, Mobi Legs regular, and now Mobilegs ultra after having 2 hip surgeries (3 weeks on crutches after each side, a total of 6 weeks). I prefer MobileGs ultra to the other two because it is so much better than the other The shoulder / arm pit rests have an adaptive, spring mechanism that acts as a shock absorber. Mobileg crutches are so much easier to use than regular crutches because they are so comfortable. Furthermore, it features a mesh shoulder that is super comfy, too. There's an arm pit rest that makes it seem like the crutches don't exist at all. Additionally, they have comfortable handles and are light in weight. If you have to use crutches for an extended period of time, this is the best $200 you can spend.
Having crutches like these makes life so much easier! It took two weeks for my wrists to heal after using standard aluminum crutches. I bought these hoping that they would be better since I will need crutches for a while and will only be able to bear some weight on one leg. These gloves are not only lighter and easier to use, but my wrist problems have long since vanished. In addition, I feel that they are more maneuverable since they pivot a bit at the top and don't need as wide a bottom base as conventional ones do. As a result of my experience, I highly recommend these products.
