Questions & Answers

Can you tell me if the hand grip is made of HARC ?

Rather than plastic grips, my grips were thick foam, and they held me well and lasted a long time. At the time, I was 310 pounds and 6'4". The piece which goes around the forearm is made of a rubber-like To fit the sides, you must adjust them. It is not practical to squeeze the left forearm into my right because my right forearm is larger. It made more sense to walk with one leg longer than the other because of the way I was walking originally. In order not to mix them up, I used a permanent marker to mark R and L on the top of the end caps. Although I did have to replace the bottom rubber pieces after two months, they were easy to replace and were less than $5 each at my Now that I don't need them, I donated them to the local VFW. They are still being used by big guys and holding up just fine. The best buy you can find!

Is it possible for these crutches to accommodate someone who is 5'6"?

Crutches that I currently possess would not be appropriate for someone of that height, however they can be ordered to accommodate specific heights.

If the cuffs are adjustable at all, or if there is padding available to put in them, can this be done?

Neither the firearm cuffs nor the ankle cuffs are The pads don't come with them. These pads are pretty sure to be available.

It is very difficult for me to walk for a long time without crutches. Are there crutches that hold 300 pounds for me, I weigh 289 pounds. Are the arms and legs adjustable, since I am 6 feet A new pair of crutches would be great. ?

His use of these products helped him a lot. At the time when he needed them (after a spinal injury), he was six feet three inches and 200 pounds. The weighting of the questions is a mystery to me, however

This is a really good deal
4/5

The products are well worth the money, but can be improved. I am giving them 4 stars. These adjust to my height of 6'3" and weight of 185 pounds with no problems. I have enough room to adjust my height around the bottom adjustment, since it is half way. * Pros include Please note that. These stilts are so strong, I could use them as stilts if I had the balance. The strap can be easily adjusted
You can easily make this into a pretend gun for the guys (they will understand)
CONS Please note that. Even when the upper arm cuff is locked down there is some slop (to the left and right). When I first started using these devices, it was a bit unnerving, but I got used to it very quickly. So this doesn't bother me as much now that I modified it. Please note that. The socks needed a little extra padding on top of that, so I cut a rag into four equal pieces and slipped them in. If you don't want the Swoosh on them, they automatically go back to being socks when you're done (cuff pads are expensive for some reason), and I left the Nike logo on the outside, so I estimate $30 in value since Nike pricing and marketing would be higher.

Having lost my left leg to an amputation, I am no stranger to forearm crutches as an amputee and this is my second type of crutch, one that I only use infrequently and indoors rather than my heavy Although very large, the over-sized forearm cuffs on this crutch were astonishng to me at 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 250 pounds. They gave me little or no support while crutching, even though they were "supportive. " In addition, the crutch tip is non-standard and will therefore offer little to no grip on wet or uneven surfaces for someone using the crutch in an outdoor environment. my experience as a crutch user, if you intend to use this crutch every day outside, please do not buy it because it will be unsafe for you. For outdoor and everyday use I pay 150 more and have a set of discs that I have completed 25 Spartan races on and they are still performing after seven years and many, many miles of racing.

The product works well, has a decent price, is adjustable, and is fairly It is a job they do well
4/5

I have not used the best pair of headphones, but they are adequate for short-term These are very adjustable, reasonably light, and they have a very useful forearm cup. Better grips or padded forearm cups would really make these an outstanding product In addition, the newer shock absorbing anti-roll bars are a big plus The best way to avoid slips and falls. So, the tips are much better than hospital stock, and not too bad, but there is definitely still room for improvement. This is especially true if you are big, I don't mean fat. I'm 6'3" and 154 pounds. In good physical condition, weighing 215 pounds and having bone crusher hands & feet You're very strong in the upper body. I was tired and my hands were sore and sore after a week on these As a result of the sticky coating on my forearm cuff, I started developing a sore on my arm.

The value for money is good, but not for those who are very heavy
3/5

The ones I had before surgery were much better. The chair is a good option for an inexpensive price, though for a tall and heavy guy like me, it has a few issues. In fact, the nuts and bolts come loose after a couple of days, and the parts start to move around. Using a wrench and screwdriver to tighten parts is a constant task. If the hardware junctions are not protected with Loctite, then this is recommended.

This crutch boasts high quality, a low price, and is easier to use
5/5

Since having hip labral repair surgery, I have not been able to walk For four weeks, I was not allowed to bear weight on my right leg. The crutches were extremely helpful during that time since they do not restrain you via your armpit area. As a result, you are much more flexible. These were the stairs that I used to get up and down. In addition, underarm crutches are very hard to use on stairs or uneven terrain. After my restrictions were lifted, I was able to use one of the crutches at a time to help me walk. Having said that, they were still superior to.

I am able to use this kind of walking aid perfectly
5/5

Taking my weight off my injured knee when I walk with these was exactly what I needed. Each time I see the difference it makes, I am amazed. I sometimes only need one and whereas a cane doesn't help in the least, these offer me a natural gait and make it easy for me to walk.

The plastic covering on components does not last
3/5

I had surgery requiring crutches. I bought these in advance so that I was ready when I needed them, but only a month later, the plastic over the metal components has failed - just days after they are no longer returnable. I have now developed cuts on my arms and my clothes are being damaged by these metal components. This product would have been nice if it had lasted longer or if the manufacturer had stood behind it. Let me know what to do!.

I don't like how large the cuffs are, and the hardware is not good at all
3/5

As soon as they arrived, they seemed legit to me. In any case, you will quickly find out that these crutches are made with the cheapest hardware possible. It should be noted that all the screws in the upper part of the crutch are total trash. learned this the hard way when I attempted to tighten them up and 3/5 of the ones I tried to tighten stripped out after only one twist. Maybe they're made of the softest metal you've ever touched? There was nothing fancy about the screwdriver I used, just a standard philips head. Having your outfit stripped is pretty effed up It's so frustrating to have a bunch of loose screws on my crutches now. It's not what you want when you need to be sure your crutches are providing you with stable support while you're injured! I also have a problem with the size of the cuffs. I'm 6 foot and 230 pounds-- but these fit pretty tight. A small person like me is not an option There might be an opening for an 8 in these cuffs, if they were designed for a giant? As the crutches never stay on your arm when you attempt to open a door or do anything else with your hands other than using the crutches, it is extremely frustrating. My impression is not good. The quality of what you get depends on how much you pay.
