Looking at my boyfriend's drawer of pill bottles, vitamins, and supplements made me sick to my stomach. He'd always ask, "Did you take this today?" He'd always forget to tell me when he was out of a medication and I needed to get refills, so it'd be the last day and I'd have to rush to the pharmacy. This pill calendar for the month is fantastic! It has enough storage space to hold all of his supplements and vitamins. It has large tabs on the top, so he doesn't have to cram his stubby fingers in there to get the day out. There's even a spare holder in case you lose one while traveling. It comes with stickers, which he uses to remind himself to refill whichever one he needs. They're also useful because they can be removed, allowing me to throw each day at him if he forgets to refill at the end of the month. I strongly advise you to purchase them.
To pick up the unit without the individual pieces falling out, I made a makeshift bottom out of cardboard. While the product met my needs at home, it is a little too bulky to travel with. I do, however, appreciate that it includes the entire month, which makes it easier for me to keep track of the date rather than just the weekday - Despite the fact that both are desirable;.
Otherwise, I'll be able to keep track of what I've taken, forgotten to take, and still need to take. No, it isn't going to help me remember: P to take my pill, but at least I'm not forced to choose between possibly taking too much or not enough by taking pills when I can't remember when I last took them. br>To make things easier, I plan out the entire month at the end of the month and only devote a small amount of time to it. br>In addition, there is a two-minute break. I use a chambered capsule for non-food items. Pain relievers are used on a daily basis. br>If you have trouble remembering to take your pills twice a day and only take them once a month, I recommend using this monthly, twice-a-day organizer.
This was purchased as a present for my grandmother. It has 32 slots, for a total of 31 days and one additional holder. Instead of a number, it's labeled with a smiley face. The eight different colors are fantastic, and I also appreciate the fact that it includes a space for am and pm. You'll need to see Grandma anyway on the last day of the month to visit and refill for the following month. If for some reason you are unable to attend, please let us know. You'll have an extra good day because of the smiling face.
That's something I've always admired. For each day, there are sections for the afternoon and evening. I didn't like how there was no easy way to see which container to pick up. It's a pain to figure out which one to take when you're super busy and don't know what "date" it is. My solution is to secure it with a bright paper clip. Choose the container with the clip, place it on the next day's container as soon as possible, and then take your meds.
FYI- These containers are not suitable for children. The quality of the product appears to be good. As I use it, I'll be able to tell. The daily pods are a good size, holding a lot of pills in each AM/PM compartment. I was tired of having to refill my weekly container, so I looked for one that would last a month, and I found it! It's worth noting that if you take midday pills, there's no room for them. There are only two hours in each day.
For my 93-year-old mother, this was a game-changer. Mom who lives alone and takes medication in the morning and evening. The design is ideal: I fill it once a month, she can take individual days with her, and the lids are easy for arthritic hands to open. Each compartment can hold a large number of pills. It doesn't get any better than this.
This is the one I've used the most because it's so much easier to load and transport because each day is its own container. I like that I can set up the entire month at once, put them in the rack, and grab one every day or as many as I need when I go on a trip. It's a lot easier to keep them separate and just take the one I need with me throughout the day in my purse. It has helped me remember to take my supplements/vitamins on a daily basis, and having the AM/PM breakdown for the capsule on the go helps me keep those I need separate, such as my iron and calcium, because I cannot take them together.
