No, and I believe that most scissors will become "sticky" as a result of residual glue on the blades. If you use vaseline on the blades before cutting "sticky patches," the glue will not stick as much.
That's not the case!

The blades are abrasive, and they do not open and close smoothly. I suppose I shouldn't have expected top-of-the-line at this price, and they'll do for clipping thread and yarn until I find something better (or have to go to the ER for stitches for something:.
Just what I needed for cutting tubing, bands, and whatever else I had to do at work. It was well worth the money.
I wasn't expecting it to be quite so sharp. To be honest, they didn't appear to be as pristine as you'd expect in a packaged product, and they appeared to have been handled. Sorry, but I won't be purchasing these again.
I got it from Amazon, and it's not the best, but it'll get the job done when it comes to cutting beading thread.
These are excellent for cutting through old bandages (which is why I bought a pair), and they provide excellent value for what appears to be a low price; they do the job.
Good scissors, but not the sharpest!.
This is a fantastic addition to my first-aid kit. I haven't had to use them yet, and I hope I never will, but I'll keep you updated if I do.
Despite the fact that I've only used them once, they appear to be in good working order. I mean, for the price, they're unbeatable. Simply inquire as to how much a good pair of scissors costs at your local hair salon. You won't believe what I'm about to tell you!.
