You get both of them. Very strong, but not suitable for fine work.

They are a great value, and I would have given them 5 stars if they weren't so stiff and difficult to open, despite the fact that I used to work as an OR tech. To be fair, I am now an elderly woman with arthritis in my hands and limited strength.
Sometimes you have to reach into a small, cramped, or tight space to complete a task (for example, replacing a hose in a string trimmer's gas tank). These come in handy when you need them and stay out of the way (most of the time). They're of acceptable quality and finish, and they haven't broken yet. I'm completely content.
They are of good quality and have a solid construction. They're great for holding circuit boards or assisting with soldering in electronics projects. If you need a clamp for fly tying or something very precise, look for something a little smaller, as the tips of these clamps are probably about 1/8 inch. br>Aside from that, I'm pleased with them and will purchase them again if necessary. br>br>If my review was "Helpful," or if you have any questions, please let me know. Thank you very much! br>.
However, I find that having one or two of these around the house and office is useful for retrieving items from places I can't reach.
What you pay for is exactly what you get. When we first used one of these, it broke. The one that broke appeared to be of low quality, while the other appeared to be of higher quality and has yet to break. Next time, spend a little more to get a better product.
They are of good quality, but I was surprised by their size; they are enormous.
The straight hemostat worked perfectly, but the curved hemostat did not. It won't close completely even on the tightest setting, rendering it useless for the purpose for which I bought it. I attempted to return it, but the return postage cost nearly as much as the two hemostats themselves, so I kept them. Make sure you don't throw your money away.
