What you pay for is exactly what you get. These were purchased as a replacement for my previous pair, and the blades are slightly shorter. They're also not as balanced as they should be - The spring action isn't as smooth as it could be.
I bought these because they were less expensive than other brands I had previously purchased; you get what you pay for, especially when it comes to precision tools. These are what I use to cut the ends off of my embroidery threads. They're ok, but not as sharp as they used to be. They're simple to use, but they lack the super sharpness required for precise trimming. I now primarily use them to cut thread for my hand needles. Spend a little more money on a pair with a lot of style. It has a nice design.
For delicate cutting of curves on paper, this type of scissors was recommended. They perform admirably in this capacity.
Perfect.
These wouldn't move at first. They needed to be sprayed with lithium grease, but they now function flawlessly.
Now, if they could just make a sharpener for these scissors, I'd be overjoyed. I use them all the time when I'm sewing because they can snip threads in even the tiniest of spaces. The only issue I see is that they don't stay sharp for very long.
Arrived on time and for a good price.
These fantastic snips are fantastic for my business, and I highly recommend them.
