My tool arrived fairly quickly, but most of the gold on it seems to be worn away. My guess is that it was new since it was in plastic. Could it just be a factory defect? The price was only like 6 dollars, so I can't really complain.

The edge is skinny and bent as well. It is easy to clean any residue from the sides of silicone oil containers with this solution.
