Can you tell me what size the Oticon Alta2 Mini hearing aid is?

My hearing aids use 8 mm mini fit domes, and I am pleased with how well they work.

Does this dome have an open top or a solid top?

Basically, they are domes that are open

Can these (oticon Minifit Domes) be used with Phillips 9030 hearing aids?

Phillips aids are not my brand. However, the speaker for your model looks similar to the one on my Oticon product. I suspect it will work with yours as well.

A oticon minifit dome seemed too big to me - it I think I purchased one. Could you please tell me how I can help?

To find out what works for you, you may have to switch to a smaller dome or try a different size. It is a matter of trial and error. You can get help fitting your hearing aids from your audiologist.

As a hearing aid user, I was given this item by my audiologist when I first started using hearing aids Since I have ear aids, I have been delighted with their comfort, and I often forget I am wearing anything in my ears. I was using a similar product from my previous audiologist, who wasn't advocating that I change and caused my inner ear to swell, requiring me to remove the hearing aids each day for a couple of hours. This is the best in terms of comfort and I don't care how much it costs.
