My son has a hearing aid that is very expensive, and I needed it replaced quickly. I really wanted to try anything to keep him from being at a loss for several weeks, but replacing it is a whole mess with insurance. I wouldn't be here otherwise. After seeing this, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it is not a perfect substitute. The one he has is much smaller and the one here was much larger and helped a lot, but the other was a lot clearer. Even though he has been using this for a week, we have finally found the lost one. He was able to get through because of it. Having tried it, I discovered that it is capable of picking up sounds pretty far away. I do not have any problems with my hearing, so I am probably not the best person.
