Eating is a challenge that can only be met with a sense of humour. I did some research after hearing that using heavier utensils could help. This weighted cutlery set appeared to have a nice picture and a reasonable price. I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived three days later and I unpacked the box. The utensils were very attractive; they were larger and heavier than regular utensils. They don't make the tremor go away, but they do make it easier for food to reach the mouth.
These utensils were bought for a family member. mine, who suffers from an essential hand tremor, which makes it difficult for them to keep food on their fork or spoon. br>While these utensils do not completely eliminate the tremor's effects, they have made eating more enjoyable and less embarrassing. They elevate the status of the individual. eating by providing stability to their hands and preventing food from falling out.
They are currently on vacation and will put the set to good use when they return. As a result, this review is preliminary and primarily concerned with the first impression. To begin with, the set's price is affordable. We unboxed the set together when it was delivered. br>br> The silverware was yanked from the bottom placard by the weight. *criticism point: It might be a good idea to look into an alternative to secure the set because twisting the small wire could be difficult for someone with tremors. br>br>The set is very well made, and their look and feel, well, it's obvious a lot of thought (love) went into the crafting of each piece! It's also a very beautiful set! br>br>Once I get some feedback, I might buy another set to keep in the car and use in restaurants.
Knife, fork, and spoon are all items that can be used to prepare food The weight of the spoons helped me control my Essential Tremors while eating, which was very appealing.
This was a gift for my mother, who is 91 years old. Because she has hand tremors, it was difficult for her not to "slosh" food. Soups, in particular, have proven to be extremely beneficial due to their size and weight. They also appear to be quite "normal," so she is not embarrassed to bring them down to her assisted living apartment's dining room. In general, I'm pleased with my purchase.
This was chosen for my husband, who suffers from Parkinson's disease and has trouble using standard utensils. These are of excellent quality and will come in handy when he is eating. They're a little cumbersome at first, but he's getting the hang of them. They come highly recommended by us!.
For her, this set of utensils has changed everything. She's ready to eat in front of others now! They blend in well with traditional stainless steel utensils thanks to the finish!.
I'm a 71- year- An elderly woman suffering from essential tremor.
