In addition to painting, drawing, and writing, I use these with my students.
Nevertheless, I think this could be of help to your child. This is a functional design, but the only flaw is the handle sizes I would guess you will need one that is pretty tight so that it doesn't It's good to have choices until you know the size you require, but it's also nice to purchase just what you need once you do.
I'm here. They should be able to ship you EazyHold Universal Cuffs from Amazon US if you place an order there.
Selected User Reviews For EazyHold Silicone Adaptive Aid (Infant to Adult) for Limited Hand Function, Poor Grip, Limb Loss, Cerebral Palsy, Stroke, Tremors, Arthritis, ALS. (Therapist -Teacher - 7 Pack)
Spastic quadriplegia has affected my son since he was two years old. Because he has difficulty gripping things, these have been a LIFE SAVER for him. They're convenient because I can use them for coloring, painting, using a stylus on the iPad, holding cups and utensils, and toy making. You can do anything and everything. If you or your child have a disability that affects your grip and grasp, or if you don't have strong fine motor skills, I suggest these. It seems that they are quite durable as well. I haven't seen any wear or tear yet and they have been in use for more than a few months now. They do have good stretch but come back to shape after prolonged use. There are various sizes in this pack. I like that these come in a variety of sizes, but don't see how the smaller sizes would be beneficial for adults, so I wish these were sold separately. This is the only negative I can think of. The hope is that they will be useful to others as much as they have been to us.
As an electric wheelchair user with lots of falls in my wheelchair, I have multiple injuries to my neck, and back that have resulted in me being independently mobile. I recently heard about your product from an occupational therapist. Two more injuries led to my absence from work A few days later I was in a car accident, while riding home in a cab from a doctor's appointment. Around that time, I fell down some stairs in my wheelchair. During the past year, I developed arthritis in both my hands which makes them I am so thankful that I discovered your easy hold grips. They have healed the pain in my fingers on my right hand, and I am now able to hold anything I like, including silverware and my electric toothbrush, without pain. I highly recommend all people with arthritis to use these products. Thank you for being a part of my life.
Acute arthritis has caused me great pain for the past few years. It would be impossible for me to lift this into my fork myself because of my lack of strength. My fork was too short to fit it on my own. Since my hands are small, I found the green one to be the perfect size There is no need to wash it by hand. It must be easy for me to apply it.
On Amazon my purchases for our home are increasing as the set I bought for him stays at his house.
What a great idea! These are used by my 9 yr old son who lives with cerebral palsy to feed himself. There are no left handed utensils available in this store, but we can adapt any of them to our needs. It is nice that they offer several different options for siE. They have been used with forks, crayons, cups, toothbrushes, and there are still more to come.
The smallest three sizes of these silicone "Easy holds" work well as well. A small size would be appropriate for an infant or toddler. In the coming years, we will be able to use the larger sizes for our granddaughter.
I would highly recommend these products for anyone having difficulty gripping a handle or holding something. To make self feeding easier, I bought these.
It's odd how the sizes fit the kids when used in occupational therapy. Only about one of them fits most kids. Though the kids absolutely love it, it is a bit more expensive than I would like. Kids with disabilities gain more independence from using this type of equipment without looking like they are using unusual medical equipment. I don't know, I'm on the fence about.
