Because I am a retired nurse, I will give you my personal opinion in response to your query. This is a small board; I would not use it to turn a patient; instead, I would use a draw sheet to turn them from side to side because it would be less cumbersome and painful for the person being moved/turned. br>On level terrain, it's ideal for transferring an average-sized person to and from a wheelchair or vehicle. Good luck and have a wonderful day.
I'm not sure what material it's made of, but it's extremely durable, even when scratched by sharp objects, and it doesn't affect its use. It's easy to move because the surface is made up of smooth layers. One piece is required for those who find it difficult to move.
No, both sides of the coin are perfectly smooth. The slant cut into the top indicates which side is the top, while the bottom is slightly rougher. It's the most useful tool I've ever had.
My husband uses it to transfer from his wheelchair to the car and vice versa. One end of the board is placed on the car seat, while the other end is placed under the wheelchair user, and they slide across. This is a fantastic size! We used to have a 24 inch board that was just a tad too short - You had to be very precise with your placement.

It helps me get from my wheelchair to a large recliner at least once a day. It's a nice, heavy, smooth surface that's easy to scoot and slide around on.
I received exactly what I ordered, and it arrived quickly. It works well for transferring patients, and I would purchase it again.
It makes moving her from her chair to the bed a lot easier.
This is a fantastic product that works well with transitions from any location.
I just had my ninth surgery on my ankle, which was damaged in a car accident. I had hardware in there that had to be removed because it was all broken. Because my couch was lower than the wheelchair, I needed it to get off it. It was a success.
FOR ONE- A HEAVY PIECE OF WOOD HANDICAPPED PERSON IN ARMED CONDITION,.
I'm finally able to get into my car and go to sleep. it's fantastic.
