The size ranges from 33 to 16 inches. Approximately 3 are required. 5 inches to fit under a chair or couch (guessing because I'm not at home, but the wheels are about 2 inches high).
11 inches
I'm not at home, but the wheel and bottom metal pipes are around 3 1/2 inches in diameter.
The base is, in fact, made of steel. The casters are made of heavy-duty plastic with two lockable wheels. The work surface is made of a wood composite that is quite durable. It is very adaptable. I've had mine for almost four years and have had no problems with it; I still think it was a great buy.

I, too, did not wish to pay a high price. After looking at a few tables, I decided that this one would be a good size for my needs (and that I could use it for my laptop and meals if I wanted to), and that the price was reasonable. It arrived well-packaged and in good condition, with no dings, dents, or other damage. It's very simple to put together, and it's also simple to adjust. I like how lightweight it is and how it isn't cumbersome or clumsy to move around with. It's also small enough to tuck away to the side of the room without taking up too much space. This item has exceeded my expectations.
After spending a long time in a skilled nursing facility, where I used a hospital over-the-counter pain reliever, I was ready to try something new. the- When I left, I realized how much I missed having a bed table. I bought this item primarily because of its low price, and when it arrived (on time, as it always does with Amazon! ), I was pleasantly surprised. ) I found it to be extremely durable, well-made, and simple to put together. It's quite sturdy for the price, which surprised me. It's simple to adjust the height and tilt; all you have to do is loosen two knobs on each upright. The tabletop is thick, and the bar prevents laptops, books, and folders from sliding off when the table is tilted. This is a fantastic product that I would recommend to anyone who requires one for their home.
I needed something to use while doing distance learning so that I could work from my bed or sofa. I put it together in a flash. When I first opened it, it was missing a non-essential rubber washer, which was a little annoying but didn't affect the performance. I frequently adjust it by raising, lowering, or tilting it. I'm comfortable using it to hold my laptop, papers, drink, and so on; I do have to adjust it from time to time to keep it from tilting when I don't want it to, but it's not a big deal. I didn't want a bonkus hospital table in my bedroom, so it's also a good size. I can easily roll this up and put it against a wall or into my closet.
This was purchased as a post-surgery item. It was relatively simple to put together on my own, but I discovered that the final product was not completely level (from side to side). not the front-to-back distance, which is adjustable). And I'm still afraid of putting too much pressure on it and causing it to completely collapse! In any case, it's served its purpose well: 1) as a rolling table, and 2) as a tilted work surface for my laptop. I didn't realize until I tried it out that the legs don't roll under my recliner, so it sits a little too far away from me when I try to roll it over me. That said, it's entirely my fault for not noticing and researching the situation more thoroughly. The price was appealing, and I am happy with my purchase.
This table is made of flimsy materials. You won't be able to lean on it or put a lot of weight on it, but it does the job. It was fairly simple to put together, though one of the legs' screw holes didn't line up, so I had to hammer the screw in. Although it is level, it is wobbly all around. This isn't the table for you if you're looking for a true, sturdy hospital bed.
This is a good-looking desk. The bar to keep items from slipping off when the table is slanted is made of extremely hard material, which makes using a mouse extremely uncomfortable if you have your laptop on it. My biggest gripe is that I can't get the table top to be level when it's flat because the attached bars aren't fully bent to a 90-degree angle.
Because it was only missing a couple of pieces of hardware, I figured I'd call today (Monday) since the manufacturer was closed over the weekend. The customer service representative was pleasant, but she politely informed me that they no longer manufacture this product and that she would be unable to provide replacement parts. I'll have to talk to Amazon, he said. So, it appears that I'll have to go to the hardware store and solve this problem on my own.
This is where I keep my crafting supplies as well as my laptop. It was fairly sturdy when I bought it on December 12, 2018. The screws that held the table top to the supports began to fall out in April. The table has become extremely shaky. It's big enough for my 7-pound cat to climb on, and it's very shaky. I considered ordering a replacement, but I believe I can locate one that will last longer. And the caster locks are locking on their own, making it difficult to move.
