The previous poster measured the outside and inside of one of the side legs and came up with the measurements 20" and 15". If I understand you correctly, you're looking for the inside measurement of the U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U-shaped U base with a shape This measurement indicates the maximum width of a chair that can be used with this table. On the inside corners of the U's bottom/closed end, there's a small, slightly rounded part. The bottom of the bag measures 26" on the inside. The open end of the inside base is 26 inches long. 25".
The table is made of high-quality materials, but there are two small brackets welded to the main support pedestal to which the table top is bolted that are critical to whether the top slopes down from the pedestal to the free-hanging end. The weld quality is probably fine, but the bracket placement appears to be the issue. Before I bought this table, I read the previous reviews and saw that there were several complaints about the top slanting down, and that some people had solved the problem by adding washers below the top. When I received my table, the first thing I did was inspect the table top and pedestal top to determine what the issue was and whether it was consistent across tables. The brackets on my pedestal were fine on the outside (opposite the long part of the table), but the bracket on the inside (long side of the table) was at least 1/16" lower than the flush location where the brackets should have been welded. Before I started assembling the table, I went to the hardware store to get some washers. I purchased a few flat standard washers as well as a few lock washers. Only the lock washers were required; however, regular washers would have sufficed. I wanted to have a few options for making it work, so I just added the two lock washers. Except for the lock washers between the table top and the brackets on the two bolts on the long side of the table top, complete the assembly according to the instructions. For less than a dollar, I was able to level the table top and avoid the sagging long end mentioned by others. Although I would advise the table manufacturer to change their welding jigs so that the 1/16" gap between the table top and the pedestal top can be reduced, I doubt the manufacturer cares or it would have been fixed by now. Many people have 1/4" diameter lock washers or standard washers in their toolboxes or in a collection of common fasteners frequently accumulated by home owners; I had given mine away when I moved from my house to the senior housing where I now live. But, in case it's ever needed, I have a couple of spares in my toolbox.
This table isn't going to move.
I'm assuming you're referring to the height of the base (which includes the wheels). Answer: I don't think it'll be too high; I'd say 3 1/2 inches at most. That, however, is just a hunch. By the way, this is an excellent table. It has a lot of sturdiness to it. There's nothing but metal here.

There is a production assembly issue with this product that needs to be resolved. The table cannot be lowered after the post retaining screw has been removed and the table has been lifted because the release handle cannot be raised high enough to release the ratchet mechanism. The table top gets in the way of raising the lever high enough to unlock the table adjustment mechanism once it's assembled. The steel strap that is actuated up and down with the lever and pin assembly is too high, allowing the adjustment handle to hit the table top before disengaging the ratchet, so I removed the table top. By removing the pressed-on end cap, I was able to remove the pin and replace it with a one-piece end cap. Over the pin, place a half-inch hollow plastic tube with an outside diameter of half an inch. I reassembled the unit, and this spacer now engages the steel strap at a lower angle, allowing the release handle to move freely without colliding with the table top. It's a flaw in the design or an issue with the assembly, but it's easily fixed by shortening the steel strap that actuated the ratchet release mechanism. This information must be shared with the manufacturer in order for them to address the problem.
br>The lifting mechanism is substantial and well-built. It's shaky. br>br>CONSbr>It's shaky. Since I bought it for an 87-year-old woman who is bedridden, it is unacceptably wobbly. year- to use an elderly parent who is dying. br>The table top has a cheap feel to it, and it isn't even level! Do I think this is a good idea? br>br> No way! This is going back to the sender! It's as if one part was designed by a pro and the rest by a novice. BUYING THIS PRODUCT IS A MISTAKE!.
After reading several reviews, I decided to purchase this table. A 70-year-old reviewer who raved about this particular table prompted me to make a purchase. The rise and lower feature was initially aggravating to me. I'd pull the handle to release it, but it wouldn't go down when I pushed the end down (not where the remote is), so I figured out that you have to put your hand there (where the remote is) and push down. After that, it's a piece of cake. After realizing this, I went out and purchased a second one because it's great for so many things. It is somewhat flexible, which I appreciate because if the patient leans, the table leans as well, rather than remaining firmly in place as a metal and wood table would. This table has a slight bend to it, making it appear more pliable and less rigid against soft tissue for patients who are experiencing pain. I use it for file stacking and standing laptop use because I work in health care. It has a contemporary appearance, is attractive, and is long-lasting. Love it!.
WARNING: A NOTE ON THE BAR SAYS: Before removing the screw, make sure you read the instructions. Nothing about the screw on the bar is mentioned in the instructions.
2. The table will not go down once the screw has been removed and the lever has been used to lift it. Changing the table's height from low to high ONE OF THE MAIN OBJECTIVES OF AN OVER BED TABLE IS TO DROP IT DOWN.
3. The end of the plastic top is weak and unsupported. Because it is too long to be supported only on one side, it droops slightly, which discourages people from using that side of the table.
4. The base, on the other hand, is incredibly solid.
5. I'd get rid of it. I'd like to return it, but it's quite heavy. inconvenient The prospect of returning it is terrifying. br>Is there anything you'd like to know? Is it possible to reduce the height of the table's top? Is there anything you could suggest to help it out more? Please let me know as soon as possible.
The table appeared to be well-assembled until the final screw was removed, allowing the table to be raised and lowered. To remove the screw, four adults were required, as well as a hammer, screwdriver, and drill. The pole has been severely damaged as a result of attempting to remove a single small screw. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have a capable mechanic with the right drill to remove the screw without stripping it out and drilling it out without marring the base piece. I'm incredibly dissatisfied with this purchase.
(I'm 72 years old) I also added two washers where it screws to the inner part of the stand (and ONLY to the inner part) so the top wouldn't dip down as some others have mentioned, and it worked perfectly! So there's no sag, it's very sturdy and well-made, and it glides over hardwood floors like a dream. I adore this table (I don't have carpet). The only warning I have is that the base is quite high, so double-check before ordering.
Purchased for my mother, who is partially paralyzed and resides in a nursing facility. This provides her with additional storage space and makes it easier for her to access her belongings. Advantages: br>br> br>It's a good size and rolls well. Plastic is simple to keep clean. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>Raise and lower are extremely difficult. She will not be able to use one if she tries. handed. I was barely able to do it with two hands. The cup area in the recess isn't deep enough to hold much. The ribs on the rectangular depression appear to be a good place to put a tablet or phone, but they're completely useless. Again, the ribs aren't textured enough to prevent sliding, and they're not deep enough. When viewed from a different angle, the top is molded and has an uneven waviness. br>br>Overall, this is a mediocre product for the price, but it will suffice.
My wife is wheelchair-bound and spends the majority of her days in bed. She had a decent gaming computer, but it was a desktop, so she had to sit at her desk to use it. We recently purchased her a top-of-the-line gaming laptop. It's a lot better than her desktop, but it's also a lot heavier. It's not something you can comfortably hold in your lap. We had a cheap bedside table, but it wouldn't fit under the bed and wouldn't be able to support the weight. I had the idea to get a hospital bed table, but where should I look for one? Of course, we're talking about Amazon. I looked at tables for hours before handing the job over to my wife, who came up with this. It's big and strong, and it serves her well. br>br>Once it arrived, putting it all together took only a few minutes, and in true manly fashion, I never looked in the direction. After all, who requires directions?.
