The arms of the chair can be adjusted. You can attach a toilet seat directly to a toilet chair, and the arms of the seat can be adjusted.
This assist has been in use for a while and I have not experienced any damage until now. My furniture contains leather, so I can only speak for myself in this regard.
The bar with gray tips on the bottom is not long enough to reach the floor under straight chairs, but it would work for toilets.
It does not adjust, but is just the right height to help in standing up from the side of the I'm sure it would work fine on a couch, too.

Here's a story I'd like to tell you. My mother has been able to get out of bed for the first time in years because of this, and I am glad about it as well. Here's a story I'd like to tell you. Before she saw it in operation, she thought that it was not going to work. When she saw it working, she thought it was great, and asked where I got it from, so I told her it was from When I was picking up my mom to hold onto her walker, I found that I couldn't lift her up anymore. This product helped my mom and me so much, and I am so grateful to you for creating it and making it accessible. If there were ten stairs here, I would give it ten stars. I appreciate your kind words and wish you and your family God's blessings.
All of us have wanted a simple helper for a long time, but we couldn't find it. It looks like so many devices are complicated, going under and attaching to the bed or chair when not in use, and getting in the way. When not in use, this is not only out of the way, but you can actually sit down first, then put it behind and beside you, and use it at the same time. I like it best when I'm having a particularly bad day.
To make it easier for me to stand up from my sofa, I purchased this device. There are no armrests on this sectional. There may be something wrong with my couch because it's too low and too The hip surgery may have left me too weak to train I will not be able to push myself up in this time. I end up bumping my head on it because I have to maneuver it around. Maybe this would work on a bed or dining chair, which have a firmer, higher surface.
As my father was very weakened after his stroke, this tool proved a tremendous help in getting him up off of As he weighs 160 pounds, it was enough to keep him stable. If a person weighed much more than the recommended weight, I could see why it would not be strong or firm.
As soon as I used it for the first time, those were the first words I said. It is God who has saved me! When I struggled to get up from bed, I raised the bed, but still struggled to get up, until I noticed Here are the 30 best. Spending a single dollar is worth it! Standing up requires me to stretch my legs over the edge of the bed, place this behind and around me (making sure my bed clothes do not go under the bar), and then push on the handles to get myself up. There's no need to rock back and forth trying to tap on the button just right!.
We don't have a sofa that has removable cushions, so this is hidden underneath a cushion that sits on top of the sofa. My husband can now get up from the couch more easily with the help of this.
I was looking for something sturdy, and this is it. The device could also be used to get up from a chair or to get off another device like this, in which the legs are placed on a flat surface. In my opinion, the type I see on this page is even better, but I saw it first. With that said, this product is very good.
