This floats on its own without tipping over! The following is an installation guide. (See photos for details). It was a new purchase for me - two of them A blanket lifter has been designed after two similar products have been tried I thought there were models from other brands that looked similar to Get this one. It's THE one you need. The attached photos can be compared for a more accurate understanding. In comparison to the similar-looking model, this model has the following advantages You can find many models who look good *1.
Tolerances of all parts are very tight, so when tightened, the system doesn't wobble at all. (See the unit on the left in the attached photo. There is no rocking or shifting of feet on the sturdier model, while the inferior model on the right, which I had purchased earlier from a separate brand, is visibly slanting toward the left. 2. )

A hexagonal cutout is present at each corner There are holes in the tubing for the 4 hex screws An example would be the heads of bolts. The bolt heads can be securely held in place by these perfectly sized grommets. number 3. )
3. The task can be accomplished without using any tools. I. ) *
*4. All four washers are curved so they fit the outer diameter of the tubing more effectively. The following 5)
5. A few inches more space is taken up by this unit than another similarly-designed unit (At least as of the date I wrote this review, Amazon had shaped units for sale). Therefore, you get more space for your feet. 6 *br. *br. A unit with the same performance extends considerably further forward (almost twice as far) than another unit with similar functionality. Lifters that lift blankets shaped like a triangle. It includes the space below the mattress as well as the space above the The following tool is optional, but I did use it TIP 2 I used a level to make sure that both support legs were perfectly vertical before tightening the four wing nuts. A pair of Husky 2s is also included There are two inches of spring clamps to hold the base of my sheet and the base of my blanket in place from sliding off. There are six for the type && You need to get a clamp of the correct size. Ideally, there should be at least two clamps on each blanket lifter. Then - ) I - I have updated the data for the 16th of August. The Husky 2 was nowhere to be found These inch-long spring clamps can be ordered online or at a Home Depot near you. To check it out I downloaded the "Pony Tools 3202-" Spring clamps 2 in. in the HT 6 pack". It was virtually identical to the Husky both in terms of shape and function. In the end, I ordered the six The sheets and blankets will be held in place with two per blanket lifter. NOTE Please read Tip 3 carefully. In order to make sure there are no drafts underneath the blanket lifter, and to enhance your sheets and blankets reaching up to the top of your bed, I arrange the blankets as follows Put the assembled blanket lifter between the mattress and frame / foundation / box at the foot of the bed (a) Insert the assembly into the bottom of the mattress. Spring is here. Two blankets should stick out of the blanket lifter Adding or removing the fitted sheet from the mattress does not require you to remove the blanket lifter every time you change bed linens because there is space between the foot and the bed frame of 3 inches . (b) Adjust the height of the blanket lifter so that it stops at the point where your feet get closer to the ceiling when your feet are pointed upward. To get the clearance I needed, our mattresses are thick, and I sleep with a pillow under my calves. So for the blanket lifter to reach that height, it had to be set the highest As you place the fitted sheet on the mattress, (c) Make sure it is tightly fitting. I have a split king bed (basically two twin XL beds next to each other). (d) [KEY STEP] My wife and I each have our own closets. The concept for any size bed is similar, so here's what we do One twin should be placed on top of the other. Place a blanket of a wider width on top of the blanket lifter so that the blanket's longer dimension will run from one side of the bed to the other (instead of being pushed from the foot to the head). You will need to adjust the blanket so that it hangs over the edge a couple inches. Let the rest of this sideways blanket drape over the left and right sides of the bed, as well as the foot of the bed, to wrap around the blanket lifter's rear edge (the side facing the head of the bed). In this position, the blanket should resemble a tent over the foot of the bed, with the only open side being the side facing the foot. With your foot tent, you are now ready to go. It should be possible to stuff enough blankets under the mattress on each side, and also under the back of the bed, if the blankets are oriented sideways. In this way, the blanket lifter is kept from attracting drafts at the back and sides. It's time to make the bed. (e) Place the flat sheet and blanket(s) on Make each reach the head of the bed by adjusting their heights. Make sure that each of these layers (which you have already tucked in on three sides) are draped over the blanket lifter and sideways blanket at the foot of the bed. If the blanket lifter is at the foot of the bed, the flat sheet and top blanket will not be long enough or wide enough to fit inside there. Using the sideways blanket and clamps (see TIP 2 below for a model) is the proper way to do it. (f) As soon as the blankets are centered side to side so that there are no gaps visible underneath the tented area of the blanket lifter, use the clamps (listed in TIP 2 above) to clamp down the layer of blankets on top of the The best manner to ensure that this happens is to use the clamp outlined in TIP 2 above but DO NOT clamp directly onto the tube frame, but rather to let the clamp surface wrap loosely around the tube frame, so that only the vice portion of the clamp is clamped onto the blankets. to see.

It fulfills the purpose for which it was designed
4/5

The blanket lifter was purchased for my husband because he suffers from diabetes and the weight of the covers hurts his feet (he sleeps on his back). He can keep his toes from being injured by the covers with this. Whenever I make the bed, I'd like it to be able to collapse all the way. I dislike the fact that when my husband makes the bed he leaves all the covers and the spread on top of the blanket lifter, which looks horrid. My only option would be to put the covers UNDERS the lifter, but I wouldn't be able to cover the foot of the mattress. In addition, the mattress lifter sticks out over the top. A fold-down bed would be awesome if it could be easily lowered to the mattress level to serve as a bed. In that case, it would be almost impossible to notice it.

I thank you for saving my life! The pros are Any blanket can be held by a metal that is strong enough The adjustable height makes it possible to use the bed with different mattress depths, box springs, etc
5/5

The device is a great help in preventing leg pain at night, while allowing me to keep my feet warm. The cons are If you don't wrap the upper bolts they can do plenty of damage on the feet (the one under the mattress stays put when the mattress is on it and the one under the mattress sometimes comes loose as it plays with them). If you wrap the lower bolts they usually do not come loose. Be aware of numbness and limited feeling in your legs and slow healing in your feet if you have these symptoms I've dealt with chronic pain for over eight years now. It is a surprise to have to pay so much. I am particularly in pain in my legs at night, regardless of all the treatments I have tried. As a result of the adjustable bed, I began to feel a little better. For almost a week now I have been using this blanket lift and I am amazed at how much better my legs feel at night than they ever have before! In order to take care of another problem I am currently experiencing, I have had to sleep on my back for the past After many years of pain and suffering, I have finally been able to have respite for my feet and legs, even when sleeping on my back! In the upper part of the lift, I used some handy cloth medical tape to cover the screw and wing nut on the upper part because my fidgety feet keep wandering along the poles and I cut my toes along those pieces a few times. With a small amount of cloth tape securely wrapped around them, they are less likely to wiggle and abrasions are reduced. It seems than the price for a few bamboo poles and nuts is quite high, but I appreciate that if a "medical" is added to an item then its price will triple. That's stupid, but it's the truth. In a perfect world I would make my own, but I wouldn't need it if I had half the energy my medical issues sap me of. The adjustable feature is also likely to add a bit of cost to the product. All in all, I'm glad I was able to choose to spend the money, and the product itself is very useful.

I am very pleased with this product
5/5

Injured my leg and needed a sturdy, yet light weight blanket lifter to allow it to heal without interference from a blanket. I received this product in good condition within two days of ordering it. Despite being protected from scratches, all of the legs were scratched. We were very pleased with the paint and the overall "feel" of the product. Assembling it is very easy because the instructions are in color, and there are many detailed pictures. The height was adjusted (an extremely important detail) to match our 13" mattress while still giving me about 9" of I slipped under the covers without touching my leg as I placed the cover over the unit. Exactly what I was hoping for! It is without any doubt a highly recommended product.

What it says it will do, it does
4/5

When I sleep, it keeps my sheets up off my feet and keeps me from rolling over. There is one thing that I dislike about it It has to be higher than just your feet or you will be hitting it whenever As a whole, it performs exactly as I needed it to. There's nothing I can do about it, and it looks strange the moment you see it sticking up in the bed when you walk into the room. As a result, it is impossible to lie on top of the bed for a rest in It might be possible for me to remove it each morning, but then you have to untuck the sheets in the evening. There is just too much work for me to do so I Despite the fact that it has a low star rating, it does what it says it will do (and I rarely give anything 5 stars).
