I can't say enough about how great this product is. Purchasing this product to prevent my wife from rolling off the bed at night was a wise decision for her because of her age. She can grab hold of the walker as a stable aid to get in and out of bed, and it also serves as an aid to maintain her balance. Because she has a history of falling, the unit has provided her with a great deal of emotional support. Last but not least, the design was well thought out. With sturdy medal construction and an expandable size, it is built to last. In addition, it has a special fabric tie that crosses under the mattress across the bed to prevent the metal frame from slipping out of place. This means that there is no danger for my wife to slip between the mattress edge and the frame. In our opinion, it is a five star device for anyone who might need such a safety device in the future.

As a result of his fall, I was hoping this product would assist him in recovering from the accident. In my opinion, the stability of the Bed Rail would be more problematic with a king-size mattress. It took him a short while to tighten and attach the strap to the rail, but once he had done so the rail was completely sturdy and ready for him to get into the bed without danger. We received the item just in time for Christmas. The color of the item is exactly the same as the antique bronze headboard we already had. There are several people who could not believe I found this ready-made design rather than a custom design.
I can see him more easily and should be able to assist him since he is already in bed. Purchasing this mattress protector is a great idea and a must for safety in the bed.

Several times I have fallen out of bed and hurt myself ( it is a restless sleeper issue) , so I knew I needed a side rail that is large enough to protect me and not obstruct me. EXTEND YOUR BEDSIDE LIFE WITH THE ABLE LIFE I was completely satisfied with the results of RAI. I did not have to spend too much time installing. My husband did it in five I can get in and out of bed with the guardrail, but it does not keep me from getting in or out. When I get restless the rail is there so I don't have to worry about falling out of bed and injuring myself.

Easy to install and very sturdy, this product will last a long time. Since I suffer from PTSD, I struggle to sleep at night or thrash around at night. As for the rail with extra length, I think it is perfect because it prevents me from falling out of bed or alerts me when I am sleepwalking by hindering my progress from leaving In spite of the fact that I weigh 233 pounds, the bag stays in place well even when I bounce off of it. Using the small button on top, you can extend or retract the extra rail quickly and easily. I have found that this simple but effective design does not get bypassed by your impaired motor skills while you sleepwalk. It is easy to change the linen and make the bed in the non-commercial area because its size is a standard size Despite its extended position, it is easy to rotate around while lying on the mattress because it fits flush against the mattress.

Here's an update. I agree with everything stated below in regard to a displeasure with strap held bed assists. On the wooden Craftmatic Adjustable Bed of my mom, I Duck Taped the heck out of it (as well as securing the strap). As a result, she has much more space to get into her bed since I attached it near the top of the I find this to be very useful. In order for my mother to transfer from bed to wheelchair successfully, she has to sit-up (with her legs out) on her own. I have added extra security and it now works well. My personal preference is not to use Safety Bed Rails that attach with a strap. I have never found them to be Today I installed this one on the bed of my mother who is very disabled. In an effort to keep it securely fastened, Duck took to taping it to the wooden frame of her adjustable bed. Putting it into place tomorrow will take drilling and screwing. In order to get real support, you'll have to work on it. It often occurs to me that the designers of equipment for the elderly or the disabled don't consult with those who will be using.

I am pleased with this rail because it is strong and does the job as advertised. The only reason I gave it half a star was that we did not receive all Furthermore, the screws we received were different from those the instructions show. According to the instructions, you were supposed to use the "long" screw and there were three screws of the same length and size. Another difference between the rail and the instructions was that the instructions were somewhat more detailed. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that the company changed the design of the rail but did not update the instructions.

There is usually a need for box springs for rails. This device is not suitable for anyone who has a bed of that type. As for the rest, it should be fine if you have a conventional bed with box springs and a My recommendation is, however, that you contact a medical equipment provider in your area and let them know what you need so they can come and assess your bed and provide options for you.

After my mother, 87, rolled out of her bed one night, I bought this product for her. Luckily, she wasn't injured, but it could have been worse. This rail was easy to install and did exactly what we needed - it is a good quality, long lasting rail. She is prevented from accidentally rolling out of bed on the side on which the system was installed. It was a great asset to have this product available to me.
